Draco's POV

"Why the fuck do you have Quidditch practice if you don't even have anymore matches this year? You can have practice once a month. I think that would be enough for keeping you all in check" Nora exclaimed.

"I dunno. What the captain says goes apparently" I shrugged. She rolled her eyes and walked to her bed after pulling out a book from her shelf.

"I thought you completed reading that book" I tried striking a conversation after hopping onto the bed next to her. "I did."

"Then why are you reading it again?" I looked at her book to see a few lines underlined. Before I could read what she'd highlighted, she closed the book and sat up straight.

"Don't you have Quidditch practice Draco?" she asked. Does everybody look this good when they are irritated or is it just that I love the girl in front of me so much?

It's the latter.

"I do but not until an hour later" We just came back from our last class for the day.

A few weeks ago, I had received a note from the Quidditch team captain which said, "Players has to be in constant practice so that their skills wouldn't become rusty for the next year."

Well, it's a fair point. But my girlfriend here is sulking about the fact that I had been going to practice every weekend since.

We had our exams 'round the corner and assignments were piling up, so the only time we had for ourselves were weekends. But that was now occupied by the practice.

She heaved a sigh, moving away from me and opened the book. "You didn't answer my question" I scooched closer. She closed the book again to reply, "I simply like it. Now quit disturbing me"

I had enough IQ to realize that she didn't want me to look into her book. "Can I read it?"

I'm just a normal human who is curious.

"No"

"Why not?" I reached for her book and pulled it out of her hand. "Draco Malfoy, give me my book back!" she exclaimed as she tried to get it out of my hand. She was not really short, but she was shorter than me. So, keeping it out of her reach was simple.

I flipped us onto the bed, the book now laid beside us, no longer having my attention. I pinned Nora to the bed as she looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Quidditch can wait, I'll spend the evening with you. Okay?" I asked in a low voice, gaining satisfaction from the way her breathing pattern became a bit ragged as the words left my mouth.

"You don't have to skip. Go" she mumbled, still trying to be mad. "I'm spending the weekend with you. Period"

"Draco-"

Before she could say anything, I gave into the urge and kissed her lips. She responded to the kiss in no time. Her lips moved against mine as she wrapped her arms around my neck and let one of her hands thread through my hair.

I placed my hands on her hips as my lips left hers and trailed down her neck. I smirked when I felt her pulse speeding beneath my lips.

She took in a sharp breath when I kissed a spot near her jaw. I gently sucked on the skin as she tilted her head to give me more space.

I tensed a bit when I heard a subtle whimper leave her lips but regained my composure within seconds.

I pulled away from her neck after a few seconds to see her skin turn a dark shade of purple.
