I take Anakin from her and my family says goodbye. Mom promised that she would check on me again tomorrow and asked Briar Rose if she wanted to go with her.
Briar Rose kisses her cheek with her father and brother and goes out with my mother.
Hayden opens the hospital gown for me and I only take it off halfway, I give Anakin my breast and he drinks greedily.
"He's so cute." I say to Hayden.
"That's him." he says and looks at me.
"What is it?" I ask, smiling.
"Marry me." he says.
"What?" I ask too, when I've heard what he said.
"Marry me, Aleia."
"Yes." I say without hesitation.
He smiles and I smile.
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ring, carefully takes my hand and puts it on my ring finger. The ring is exactly as I imagined it, the diamond stone is not big and not too small, it is exactly the perfect size.
I look at the ring and cry because I am so overwhelmed, I just gave birth to my son and I am engaged to the father of my child.
I turn my head to Hayden and kiss him. "He is beautiful." I say.
My head is on his shoulder and we both look at Anakin, who is still sucking on my breast. When he pulls his little head back, Hayden takes him to burp him.
I get dressed again and lie back, watching the two of them, falling asleep with a smile on my face.
The next day my family came back. Briar Rose immediately ran to her brother, who is in the little bed next to me, and looked at him with such admiration. Anakin touches her little finger and her eyes light up.
Mom brushes the hair out of my face and helps me get up because I have to go to the bathroom and change my pad.
Hayden comes into the room with my dad and brothers when I'm back in bed. Hayden sits down next to me on the bed and takes my hand in his, I smile at him, then I hear someone inhale sharply.
"Aleia Jersey Holland." Mom says. "Is that an engagement ring on your finger?" She points to my finger and has tears in her eyes. I look at Hayden, who is smiling, and then at my mom and family, who are looking at us. "Yes, Hayden proposed to me yesterday," I say, holding up my hand to show the ring.
"OMG," shouts Zendaya, who has come into the room. "You're engaged." She comes to my bed and looks at my mom's engagement ring.
My dad and brothers congratulate us, Briar Rose sits down next to me and hugs me.
"Shut up," says Paddy to Tom, who laughs.
"What's wrong?" I ask, looking back and forth between the two.
"Paddy was praying when we were waiting in the hallway for you to have Anakin," says Sam.
"He was crying and praying that you wouldn't be in pain and that it would be over quickly." Harry continued.
I look at Paddy, whose face is on the floor, and a few tears fall.
"You're my sister, okay." he says. "And hearing you scream like that just hurt me."
"I love you, Paddy Bear," I say, spreading my arms.
He immediately comes and hugs me. "I love you too, Jersey."
"Oh, the best is yet to come," Tom says and Paddy pulls away from my embrace and shakes his head violently. "When you screamed really loudly, Paddy fainted crying and we had to get a doctor."
"Okay, I'm fine, Jersey," he says when he sees my look. "So, we brought presents." He gets all the presents and puts them on the bed.
Briar Rose and I start to unwrap the presents. All the presents are great. There are clothes, shoes, toys, some toys. Then I unwrap Tom's present and there's a Spider-Man suit inside, a Spider-Man onesie, a Spider-Man t-shirt and shorts, a small Spider-Man backpack and a t-shirt that says "Mʏ ᴜɴᴄᴇʟ ɪs sᴘɪᴅᴇʀ ᴍᴀɴ"
"Dude, what's that about?" Harry says to Tom.
