Lance nodded. "I have to."

Without another word, Lance's form began to shimmer once more. The air around him crackled with energy as he transformed back into the majestic Blue Lion.

The transformation was swift, and soon, the Blue Lion stood tall and powerful.

The Voltron team and the Pride watched in awe as Lance moved with purpose muscles rippling with each step as he walked toward the remaining black shifters.

The enemy forces, now leaderless and confused, hesitated as he approached.

Keith felt a surge of pride as he watched Lance in his true form. "Go get em, babe."

Then Lance roared, a sound that echoed across the battlefield with a force that seemed to shake the very ground.

The roar was not just a display of power; it was a call, a command that reached deep into the minds of the black shifters.

The effect was immediate.

The black shifters, who had been moving like automatons under the influence of mind control, suddenly froze.

Their eyes, once clouded and vacant, began to clear.

Their black fur melting away until they were all back there original animals

They looked around, confusion and recognition dawning on their faces.

Lance roared again, and this time, it was a roar of reclaiming.

The sound carried a power that broke the chains of control, freeing the minds of the black shifters from their unseen oppressor.

One by one, the black shifters began to drop their aggressive stances.

They looked to the Blue Lion with a mixture of awe and happyness.

"That is what a true Alpha looks like" Pidge grinned his tail flicking in joy.

The Lion turned back to the Voltron team and the Pride, its eyes shining with a mixture of exhaustion and triumph.

Keith walked up to the Blue Lion, placing a hand on its snout. "You did it."

The Blue Lion nuzzled Keith affectionately, a low rumble of contentment emanating from its chest.

As the freed shifters gathered, looking lost but hopeful, Lance addressed them he voice rumbling out off the lions mouth. "You're safe now. We'll help you find your way back home."

The Pride began to organize the freed shifters, ensuring they had the support they needed.

Lance, now back in human form once more, stood beside Keith. "Let's go home," he said softly.

Keith nodded, wrapping an arm around Lance. "Together."

----

Keith tried to get Lance to come with him in the red lion but he refused.

"I promise I will be with you later, But right now I need to get them home" Lance said pulling Keith to him by the waist and nodding over at the shifters who were staring at him.

Keith Hated the idea of leaving him just as he got him back.

Keith nodded and gave him a quick peck on the cheek making Lance laugh.

"You missed" Lance purred connecting there lips in a kiss that left them both breathless.

"Fuck" Keith laughed looking up and a now grinning Lance.

"I'll see you at the castle" Keith smiled at his mate who nodded.

"At the castle."

Keith ran to his lion and took off racing to catch up to the others.

Lance turned to the shifters of his pride, who had been watching the events unfold under Romelle's guidance.

With a determined and joyful expression, he called out, "Let's go home!"

The response was immediate and heartfelt.

"YES ALPHA!" they cheered, their voices filled with relief and joy at his return.

Lance felt their happiness flood through him, strengthening the bonds they shared.

Smiling, he shifted back into his lion form and with a powerful leap, he led the way toward the castle, his pride mates shifting into their animal forms and following closely behind.

The journey back to the castle was about an hour by paw, two hours by foot, but the sense of unity and excitement made the time fly by.

Lance glanced back occasionally, his heart swelling with pride as he watched his pride mates surge behind him, their spirits lifted by his presence.

As they approached the castle, the sight of its familiar walls brought a sense of homecoming that resonated deeply with everyone.

Lance slowed his pace, allowing the others to catch up, and together, they entered the castle grounds.

Keith, Shiro, Allura, Pidge, and Hunk stood at the castle entrance, waiting to welcome them back.

The sight of Lance leading part of his pride was like seeing a beacon of hope, and it filled them with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

"Lance, welcome home," Keith said, stepping forward to embrace his mate once more. "We've got a lot to catch up on."

Lance nuzzled Keith affectionately, his lion form conveying all the emotions he could put into words but chose not to. "Yes, we do. But for now, let's just enjoy this moment."

Lance looked at the gate and grinned a large toothy grin before letting out another call. That's when the stampede occurred.

Lance chuckled and flicked Keith up onto the safety of his back as he was surrounded by the rest of his pride, all welcoming him home with heartfelt sighs of affection.

A silver wolf and a jaguar snarled and snapped their way through the crowd in their haste and joy.

Lance quickly set Keith on the ground just before getting tackled by the pair.

They all transformed, and Adam and Romelle pulled Lance to his feet and hugged him, both fighting tears.

As the sun set, casting a warm glow over the castle, the sense of home and belonging was stronger than ever.

And gosh, Lance was happy to be home.
