The Mage Realms: Tales of Amar

Prologue

"Now, destroy the palace!" I hear the general yell. No, they won't, right? I run in, trying to stop them from getting to the king's castle. I see catapults firing and people dying. Why can't they live on their big island, and not take over the Island of Atar? Whatever, it doesn't matter, they can't take over Atar! I will stop them. I Take out my sword and run into the battle, they are trying to take down the palace, and I just can't let them get over there. I kick someone over and take their sword, "Where is the general?!" I ask and put my sword next to their neck, "Over there," They say in a staggering voice. I look where they pointed and see a man with a large sword and shiny armor, I sheath my sword and walk over to the general. You are going down! I look up and see smoke. "The palace won't go dow-" I say and get stabbed in the back. The last thing I see before I close my eyes is a huge fire at the Palace, "No," I whisper...

I wake up in a building, "Where am I?" I ask myself and sit up, "What is this place?" "He's awake!" I hear someone yell. "Who are you?" I ask and look around the room, full of wounded soldiers from both sides of the battle, "I'm, well, no one useful to you in any way," They say and sit down in a chair next to my bed. "What do you mean?" I ask him. "I'm someone who invaded your land, but I didn't mean any harm!" They say. "Oh," I lay back down. "You have been out for the past 2 weeks so we all thought you died," They say and put out their hand, "We can rebuild Atar together!" "But, wasn't it taken over by the land of Amar?" I ask them. "Yes, but that won't stop us from rebuilding it, the Realm of Darkness will turn into Atar in due time, oh, and we are called the Realm of Darkness, cause they think we learn dark magic or something like that."
