James POV
I ran after Sevy as fast as I could. 'I hope he's okay ', it's the only thought on my mind. 'Why did he go into that bloody chamber alone?!', I ask myself over and over again.
When I got into the chamber and saw Regulus, Sirius little brother, hovering over a body. "He don't breathes, he's dead!", Reg screamed. I then see his face, Sev is... dead...
When I snapped out of my trance I saw another boy, the Slitherin heir Tom- Marvolo Riddle. I looked at Reg in silent question, tears still in both our eyes.
"The Basilisk killed Riddle after Riddle killed Severus.", Reg said after calming down a bit.
"The Basilisk can't kill if it's a hatchling... Sev told me before he got... k- killed...", Reg explains as the 2 meter long snake came out of a hole in the wall.
To say I was shocked was an understatement, as the Basilisk bit his own body and let his blood drip into Sev's mouth. Just a few minutes later the snake curls up in his lap as a few Professors came in and targeted the hatchling. "He isn't bad, he tried to help!", I yell out frustrated.
"It's a she...", Sev says a little weak. "What?", I ask while turning to him. "It's a she, her name is Ivy... she just wants to protect the school.", clarifies Sevy.
Sev's POV
'I let you drink my blood, so you'll probably have no problems with poison... and you'll be immune against the looks of a grown Basilisk', Ivy tells me and I just ask, 'How'd you know that?' 'Salazar was immune, my mother told me before she died...', she just replied.

Sirius' POV
Three weeks. Three weeks since Reggie is healed. And three weeks till Christmas. Sev isn't healed yet so me, James, Reggie, Lily, my insufferable cousins, Lucius and Remus are staying here for holidays, so Sev won't be alone over Christmas. Till now he don't knows how lucky he is but Jam will tell him today.
We all visited Sev in the imfirmary during his healing but James not even thought of going to any meals if we didn't brought him there. I have the feeling James is going to fall in love with Sev, if he isn't already in love. It seems so because he's very clingy around Severus.
