A/n: This is a suggested story about Chimon's health condition around the time of the 2024 LOL fan fest. For context, the story takes place on May 15 or 16.

It will include a little bit of discussion on sickness and health related topics. I also want to clarify that the mention of Chimon's health is purely fictional speculation and do not reflect any known facts about his personal conditions.

Also a warning that there may be a few Anti-gmmtv comments, which do not reflect the true views of PerthChimon (I couldn't stop myself from adding a little bit my own opinion on the company).
_________

The summers in Thailand were no joking matter. Excessive heat in the month of May was reaching over 100 degrees F (37 degrees C). The consistent temperatures put an added strain on Chimon. With his tired eyes, he looked out his hospital window to the bright cloudless blue skies.

'Why me?' He kept thinking as he laid on his back, stuck in the bland looking room on the third floor of a hospital in Bangkok. The capital city was full of people who all had jobs and families and so many responsibilities.

Chimon had responsibilities too. And yet, here he was. He was subjected to bed rest, a consistent intake of medical fluids circulating into his body, and bi-hourly checks with a nurse. If only his body wasn't put through an overdose of stress mixed with overexposure to the intense daytime heat.

If only he didn't work for this company that treated him as a money making pawn. If only he was given a better schedule of jobs that made some sort of logical sense given the time constraints. If only...

Redirecting his attention away from the window, he glanced towards his mother. She sat in a chair against the opposite wall looking down to the papers in her hand.

A sudden notification chimed from Chimon's phone. It nearly startled him. He hoped it wasn't anything else to load on the stress he was already overwhelmed with. That was the whole reason that led to this hospital stay in the first place.

Swiping through the phone, he read the text message.

"What are you smiling at, big brother?" Onze, his sister, suddenly said. She was sitting near the side of his bed, a black zip up shirt on as she peered up to him.

Glancing over to her and then back down to his phone, the message read:

[Perth: I miss you I miss you. I will practice extra hard for you today!]

"Oh Perth was just sending well wishes," Chimon replied. He couldn't possibly tell her exactly what the message said. That would be far too embarrassing. That message would only give her fuel for teasing him.

He then sent a quick reply back. He was glad to hear from his acting partner. They had become close friends and perhaps a little more than just that. But it wasn't something they explored yet, or even had time to explore.

Rereading the message from Perth a few more times, he felt a sense of relief. Putting away his phone he pressed his body into the firm bed. He was glad to hear from Perth again today. They were in the rough situation together at gmmtv. They were undervalued and overworked. But, they have each other and that's what makes him happy despite his current condition.

Into the afternoon, Chimon fell asleep. Clutching onto the stiff blanket, he slept for 3 hours. By the time he woke up, his sister was the only one in the room.

"You're awake. Are you feeling better big brother?" She said, in her naturally soft tone, as she turned up from the computer screen.

Chimon tried to give a smile to her, but he was still very tired and felt the weight of the stress still looming over him. "I'm fine right now. No need to worry."
