Chapter 1: The start of all this

A/N This is all completely new, the old one will be written again but be a separate story.

(Levi's Pov)

It was now last period and I'm doing the usual, sitting in the back row in the last seat listening to my iPod when the teacher catches my interest. He walks to the door and get given a piece of paper. It's obviously a note from the office, they usually do this so we are all use to it. It only caught my interest as they are usually about me so I usually listen to them. I pull one of my earphone out just before my teacher speaks.

"So class, it seems we will be getting a new student tomorrow. His name is Eren Jeager and he is from Germany, he also will be in our home room class. That is all" Mr Erwin tells us with a impressed and excited tone, the weird thing is the look he got on his face. It wasn't normal as he never looks like that and we have had plenty of student coming from other school so it was pretty weird that he was so happy especially for a teacher who shouldn't really care.

I put my other earphone in and continued to listen to the music blasting into my ears as I relaxed into my chair with the music matching the beat of my foot. I checked my watch and it reads 2:55 pm, sweet 5 minuets left I say to myself. Deep in thought I continue to talk to myself until the teacher taps my shoulder.

"What" I reply still in thought.

"Ackerman, the bell rung and you don't want Mikasa to worry if you're home late" Mr Erwin says to me as he walks back to his desk and sits down.

"Yeah" I reply to him not even looking toward him as I grab my bag and go to walk out,when I'm stopped by Mr Erwin saying my name. I turn and face him before he speaks to me once again.

"Also Ackerman, I believe this new kid is going to be some fun. Don't be surprised if your life is about to change" he says with a smile and a chuckle.

"Whatever" I say as I walk out the door to leave to go home. Great is all I think as I walk down the partially empty halls.

~Time Skip~

(Levi's Pov)

I wake up to a loud banging on my door, the sound was hammering into my head and it was so annoying. I rubbed my eyes and walked over to my door opening it to see who it was.

"Levi" Mikasa said to me getting annoyed.

"What Mikasa, I was sleeping". I yawn and walk over to my bed and sit back down.

"Have you looked at the time, you going to be late... again. Well I'm leaving bye Levi".

I take a deep breath and sigh as she walks off to go to school. I check my watch that read 8:30 am, crap school starts in 20 minutes. I quickly chuck a black shirt and my ripped jeans on trying to hurry so I'm not late or Mikasa will yell at me again.

She isn't my sister but my cousin so why is she treating me like a child, I'm the adult anyway. I quickly walk to school taking in the scenery which was the same as usual, kids walking to school while the snow slowly fell like raindrops in a storm.

Finally arriving at school I walk down the half empty halls in a rush so I don't get a detention. I walked through the door just as the last bell rung, sweet I wasn't late today. I walk to my seat as always, sit down and grab my ear phones out. I put them in listening to 'Pretty on the outside' as it softly filled my ear with harmony. I hummed the tune knowing it off my heart and close my eyes letting me sink into the beat of the music.

(Eren's Pov)

I walk the empty halls as the Principle walks me to my new class, it was so strange suddenly changing schools so late in the year especially in year 12 I was so lucky to even get accepted. I listen to my footsteps as they softly tap then echo into nothing but silence. I leave my thoughts behind as I stop behind Miss Hanji.
