Thuriya lied to call Rose's house and told them she's needed to travel with him to Inn lay. {second largest lake in Myanmar, a habitat for many floating villages.} Her father was unsure of the sudden work call but Amara stepped in making it possible for Thuriya to ask the excuse from her parents.
He never left her side the whole night, trying his best of knowledge to make her heal better from the injuries.
He watched her fall asleep after being treated and held her hands to make her sleep in peace.
Rose was traumatized in spirit, the haunting experience torments her mind, a feeling way more worse than her physical wounds.
When Rose woke up in the morning, she found herself in Thuriya's bedroom.
Her right eye felt extremely swore to fully open yet she felt a warm grasp upon her hands which she instantly knew that that was Thuriya.
"Rose..."
She smiled.
"Rose....are you awake?"
His voice was a bit shaky but sounded relieved.
Rose gently nodded as he sat down beside the bed holding her hands. Her bloody clothes were changed, with all her wounds well tended with some bandages.
The room was filled with some purple mist that was coming out from a cauldron in the corner and it produced some kind of an earthy cinnamon scent. She didn't know what it was but it somehow helped in relieving her pain.
Trying hard to look back at him, her wounded eye only gave her a blurry vision which she tried to touch with her hands.
"No.....don't touch it...it'll get infected..", he jabbered, gently grabbing her hands.
"Now that you're awake...I have some medicine for the eye.."
He got up and quickly ran to the table bringing over some green solution in his hands. As he got back to her bed, he drew out some solution with a pipette.
"Do you trust me..", he said looking down to Rose.
Rose gave a weak smile to approve and he gently dropped in some solution onto her eye.
"I made it from cica leaves myself and it'll make you better in no time..", he said putting the bottle back on the table.
Holding onto her hands again, Thuriya closed his eyes and gave a kiss on it. He didn't let go of it for awhile nor did Rose try to push him away.
" I know you must be confused now Rose...but believe me...I'll....I'll explain everything.."
Rose never had any doubt nor questions. She only smiled and nodded to his every actions while batting her lashes very quickly.
A coo sensation seeped into her eyes from the liquid and she felt it spreading to the whole area. As she laid still in bed, the bruises around her eye lessen out, finally reducing the inflammation itself and Rose looked at Thuriya with a completely clearer vision which got her astounded.
"I...it's all gone...the pain...and the vision..." Rose said closing her mouth with her hand, lashes batted again and again to test out the miraculous recovery.
Thuriya smiled satisfyingly to her awe and he leaned down, kissing her hand again. A pale red flashed across her cheeks and Rose felt her heart thumping. With her wounds easing away, she's now able to feel the warmth from Thuriya up close.
"You're not having second thoughts now are you?", he said with a smirk.
"I.....about what...?", Rose said in her pink cheeks.
