I laid in bed for what it seemed to be hours since Rose went home. So much happened today as more and more questions seemed to flood ino my brain non-stop. The solution?: trying to patch the leaks with answers until my brain exploded with mindless questions that floated along the river of my endless flashbacks and paranoia to Rose and other people.

My hands snaked up to my neck which still made me winced everytime I thougt back to that very momemt. All the pain seemed to hit me all at once as Rose would stare at me blankly with an overly dark exxpression implanted in her eyes. I suddenly cringed whenever I saw that look on her face; the mask she would always wear whenever she was dissapointed. She would always pull out the big guns for whatever was comign to her.

When I told her that we could fix this, I had some doubts shout at me like parents after you arrvied at home after your curfew. I never went out that much, since my mind and eyes were glued to the world of literature that awatied me after school. Pathetic I know, but still back to the point. I didn't see the guy's face and I knew from instinct that the girl beside him indeed had a somewhat affair. Who knows...Ahh I hate that quote, "who knows.." it always irritated me since I asked--even begged--for answers in the past.

As my head wandered off into La La land, my mind was still glued to the couple walking away.

"Hello? Landon?" I awoken from quick nap I had at lunch with Rose looking at me like I was the strangest person in this whole room.

"What?" I asked.

"Why are you sleeping..."she asked, a tad curious. A corner of my lips stretched into a questionable smile.

"Rose, students kind of sleep here, y'know to get some rest," I yawned as I stretched my arms, struggling for the right spot of relaxtion, "I kinda didn't get much sleep last night." I admitt, from reading none stop for a few hours after dark, i was beginning to develop light bags under my eyes, which was quite noticeable when you look at my face up close; Tousled hair that needed a haircut, beady eyes that required more sleep, a slender nose and thin lips...wow aren't I dashing early in the morning I said sarcastically to myself.

"I always get a good night sleep..."Rose said quietly, yet agin taking out another apple.

"Breakfast?" I asked gesturing to the fruit.

"You know me too well." she smiled, taking a bite.

Suddenly I felt a light tap on my shoulder. Rose instantly stared at this person behind me as I slowly craned my head around. It was a girl. I cringed...the only thing girls went up to me for was for tutoring for subjects or just to borrow my textbook if they've midplaced it or some stupid excuse to help them with their studies. I bet THIS girl was one of them now, I could just feel it.

"Hi are you, Logan Grant?" she asked sweetly. I turned to look at Rose. she played no emotions on her face as she stared blankly at this girl, leaning back in her chair, observing her every move. I suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.

"Yeah.." I said slowly, a bit dazed.

"Hi, I'm Aria Jones, I just transferred a couple of weeks ago to the neighborhood, would you mind showing me around the school?" she asked, sugar coating EVERYTHING.

I cringed in suspicion; something didn't feel right.
