A/N

I really want to try to be better with how often I'm writing because I suck.

*LILY'S POV*

I open the microwave door as it beeps indicating that my hot pocket was ready. My phone buzzes on the counter next to me telling me Wes is calling me. I pick up the hot pocket and take a bite before answering the phone.

"Hello." I says with my mouth half full.

He laughs on the other end of the call, "Hello Lily, how is that hot pocket?"

I stopped chewing for a moment and look around the room, "How the hell do you know I'm eating a hot pocket?"

"I know you more then anyone Lil."

"Why did you call?" I take another bite and try to change the subject.

"Can I come over I need to ask you a question."

"Why can't you just ask me now on the phone since we're already talking." I laugh.

"Because I prefer to ask you in person."

"Okay weirdo." I mumble.

"See you in 15 minutes."

"Okay bye." I hang up the phone before he can say anything else.

After I finish eating my hot pocket I throw the trash out and go up stairs, but before I get in my room there is a knock on the door.

"I thought he said 15 minutes that was like 2." I say to myself.

I walk back downstairs and open the door but it wasn't Wes.

"Hey."

"What are you doing here?" My tone of voice was more annoyed then I wanted it to be.

"How are you?" Brian asks.

I sigh, "I'm fine. How are you?"

"Not so good."

It's clear on his face that he hasn't been doing well. He looks exhausted, his eyes are blood shot, he looks worse then I do which makes me feel slightly guilty.

"I miss you so much Lil." he takes a step closer to me, but I take a step back.

The look on his face broke my heart. I can't stand to see him like this. Although what he did to me was wrong. I don't know what I should do.

"I'm Sorry. I know I've said that over a thousand times but I can't even express how much-"

I wrap my arms around him and I can tell he wasn't expecting it because his body was tense, but he eventually wraps his arms around me holding my body like he used to. I would be lying if I said I didn't miss this.

*WES' POV*

I pull up to Lily's house to see the front door open.

That's weird.

When I get out of the car and walk to the front door I find Lily hugging Brian. Are they getting back together? Should I even stay? Screw it I'm not letting her go again.

"Hey."

Brian turns around and Lily looks shocked.

"Wes." Lily says.

"Are you guys uh together." Brian asks awkwardly.

"No no no." Lily says.

Wow thanks I thought we were actually getting somewhere. I guess that's us though. We take one step forward then 5 steps back.

"I'll call you okay." Lily says to Brian.

He nods then glares at me before leaving.

I follow Lily to her room and she sits in her bed while I sit in the chair over by her desk.

"So what was that about?"

"It was nothing." she answers.

"It didn't look like nothing." I say under my breath.

"I didn't know he was coming he just showed up at my door so don't be a dick to me about it."

"See you see him again then we're back to this." I raise my voice.

"Back to what?"

"Back to you hating me." I answer quickly.

"I don't hate you Wes, you and I both know that." she whispers.

"Well you sure as hell don't feel the way I feel about you." I begin to calm down.

"You don't know that." she says so quietly I almost can't hear her.

My vision goes from my lap to her. She sits on her bed with her legs crossed, never looking at me, always at the floor. She's so beautiful I will never get tired of looking at her.

"What is it that you wanted to ask me?" She looks at me with her crystal blue eyes that I love.

"Be my date to the wedding." I blurt out.

Her eyes grow wide, "I-I don't know-"

"Why not?"

"I just don't think it's a great idea-"

"Why is that?"

She doesn't answer.

"If you can give me one good reason then I'll except it and we won't go together."

She laughs, "You drive me crazy Wesley Stromberg."

"Not as much as you drive me crazy." I smile.

She smiles and it makes my heart beat a thousand times faster then it should. I'm so in love with this girl. I don't know how she doesn't see it.

"Do you know how much I love you?" I didn't mean to ask, it just came out.

Her smile fades but not completely.

"Of course I do."

"Then why don't you love me?"

"You should stop assuming things because you're almost always wrong." she laughs.

Her laugh is the most amazing sound, along with her voice. That's just another thing I could never get tired of.

"You never gave me an answer."

"An answer to what?"

I stand up and walk toward her towering over her, "Will you be my date to the wedding."

"I'll think about it." she laughs again.

I love how I can make her laugh.

"Well you better think fast the wedding is in a week."

"I'll be your date." she stands up, "if," She brings her face closer to mine as if she is going to kiss me, but her mouth moves over to my ear, "you give me a piggy back ride." she whispers.

"Of course princess."

She stands up on her bed and hops on my back and I speed around the house listening to her beautiful laughs that fall uncontrollably from her mouth.
