My apology mellyn nîn for not posting a new chapter for a long time, i've been busy with other things and a bit lazy yes lol, but don't worry here's finally a new chapter!

So here's a special chapter where the twins appeared to be 6yo

One day in Rivendell, the twins Elladan and Elrohir where playing gently together in the living room while their father was working in his office and their mother was relaxing in the garden peacefully

After a long time playing with their wood sword, they started to get bored of it and wanted to do something more fun

The twins even at their really young age were already know well for their mischievous mindset and they were unstoppable when they had a idea in mind

"Hey Ro', come with me!" Whispered Elladan holding out his hand for Elrohir to take and stand up too

"Hey Ro', come with me!" Whispered Elladan extending his hand for Elrohir to take and stand up too

Elrohir took his twin's hand without hesitation and stand beside him

Elladan didn't let go of Elrohir and a they both carefully came closer to the door wich lead to outside

Elladan and Elrohir didn't need to share a word, only one eye contact and both knew that they had the same idea in mind

They obviously knew they were not allowed to go outside alone, especially at their young age, but they made their minds and in less than a minute they were already outside

"Where to we go now? Do you wanna play in the woods?" Ask Elrohir with excitement

"Yes! Let's go! It's just in front of us, we just have to follow the road and we'll come back before ada or nana notice that we're gone" Replied Elladan, leading the way proudly

Then Elrohir followed his twin until they arrived in the forest after a few minutes of walking

When they reached the forest, they started running one after the other and both were having a lot of fun running around all the trees nearby

But little did they know that they had gotten a little too far away from each other and when Elladan turned around, he was worried not to see a sign of his twin nearby

When Elladan suddenly stopped and looked at the horizon looking for Elrohir, but his worry grew when he couldn't see him, he could only see the leaves of the trees falling and a silence around him filled with the gentle sound of the wind

"Elrohir?" He tried calling his twin once but no response came

"Elrohir? Where are you?"

"Please reply to me, this ain't funny..." Said Elladan a little anxiously, wishing this was only a joke from Elrohir

"ELROHIR! PLEASE!" Elladan shouted not knowing what to do or where to look for Elrohir if this really wasn't a joke but a serious situation

After running around and calling Elrohir's name over and over with no response, Elladan did the only thing he knew to do if he was in a dangerous situation like their parents had taught them, and he ran just as fast as possible to Rivendell, to go find a adult and ask for help

Meanwhile, Elrohir was in the same scary situation when he realised that he was all alone, he hadn't heard Elladan scream his name cause he was too far away from him, as they had ran in opposite direction from one another

Then Elrohir started to called Elladan's name in hope of a response of his twin, while he tried to find his way in the forest

When suddenly Elrohir fell to his knees as he collided with something, or someone, he didn't realize it until he raised his head to find himself face to face with a beautiful black horse

When he tried to get up after gently patting the horse, he saw a hand gently held out to him

He gracefully took the hand which was gently offered to him and stand up on his feets

When he look at the person who was helping him, he saw a graceful elleth wearing trip clothes and he guessed that she was probably travelling with her horse and she was comming back to Rivendell now

"Tithen pen, what are you doing here all alone?" Asked the elleth with a beautiful soft voice

"Hannon-le, i was with my brother and we were playing but i lost him and i don't know where he is... Can you help me, saes?

"Of course i will help you, are you Elladan or Elrohir?" Asked the elleth

Elrohir was grateful that she was going to help him but he was surprised by the question but he answered in confusion

"Humm i'm Elrohir, how do you know who i am?"

"Oh yes sorry i didn't introduced myself yet, my name is Idril and i'm one of the healer of Rivendell, i work with your ada, i was just in some holidays to visite some friends"

"Oh! Yes, I think I remember seeing you sometimes now" Said Elrohir

Then the elleth gently took Elrohir little hand in her own and they both started to walk to look for Elladan

When Elladan arrived at Rivendell, he ran directly to his father office, ignoring all the other elves around him

Elladan pushed the door of his father's office open, and ran to his father and tap on his laps to get his attention

"Ada! Ada!" Called Elladan until his father look at him

"Ion nîn, can you wait please, i'm busy, go play with your brother" Replied Elrond

"NO! No ada... You don't understand, i need you! It's Elrohir..." Replied Elladan with slight tears in his eyes

"What do you mean it's Elrohir? What happened?" Asked Elrond now focusing on his son when he notice the tears in his eyes

"I-I'm sorry ada... We went in the forest... And i couldn't find him anymore... I didn't know what to do"

"Are you telling me that Elrohir went missing or were you two just playing hide and seek??" Asked Elrond, while kneeling in front of Elladan to be face to face with him

"No ada, we weren't playing... I tried to find him and i call his name but he didn't answer..."

At this answer, Elrond immediately took Elladan in his arms and ran in direction to the forest

When they arrived, Elrond shouted Elrohir name and looked around for any sign of his second son

After a few minutes, Elrond stopped when he heard somebody calling him

"My lord! Over here!" Yelled the voice and Elrond and Elladan immediately followed the direction of where the voice came from

Then suddenly they caught sight of Idril and Elrohir who was by her side

When Elrohir saw his father and his twin, he let go of Idril's hand and ran to them

"ADA! ELLADAN!" Screamed Elrohir in excitemnent, running in his father's arms

"Oh ion nîn! I'm glad to see you two being well!" Said Elrond hugging his two sons tightly

When Elrond let go of the hug, he stand up to looked at Idril

"Hannon-le Idril, I am truly grateful that you crossed paths with Elrohir and kept him safe with you" Said Elrond smiling at her

"No need to thank me my lord, what matter is that everything ended up well and nobody is hurt" Replied Idril also smiling

After that they all walked back to Rivendell safely and the twins had a discussion with their parents about the non safety to go alone in the woods without petmission and adults
