Hello everyone, sorry for my random hiatus. I had a lot of things that happened to me but I'm back now. Thank you for being patient with me, 谢谢. This AU is currently ongoing (as of March 12th) and currently has 4 chapters already and the 5th chapter will be posted on Monday.

But I would like to do some quick house cleaning.

I should also note that for those of you who don't follow me on X, this fiction was inspired by a Taylor Swift song that I love called "Tolerate It," so if you know that song.....then you know that we are in for a fun ride with a happy ending.

Also this is a bi-weekly fic posted on Mondays. There will be occasional weekly posts when I have time from school and work. I have planned for this story to have a 2 part prologue, 21 chapters and 1 epilogue, so 24 chapters total. The main story (not the prologues and epilogue) takes place over the span of about a year and a half. From March 2030-October 3031.

I did make a Spotify Playlist for this fic but I don't want to spoil the story. But I will tell you that 90% of the titles do correlate to their connecting song. (Prologues and Chapter 7 are the only different ones). So if you recognise the title then you know what to expect from the chapter. I will tag their songs at the end of each chapter.

Lasty, parts of this story have tidbits of Japanese in it but it will all be romanised. I'm not used to using romaji and am used to only using the Japanese script but I try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible. I have only been speaking Japanese for 6 years now so it is not as strong as the other languages I've been speaking for my whole life like English and Mandarin. A few tips to make reading these parts easier and activate any passive vocabulary that you have.:

- "A" is read as "Ah" and not the American "A"
- "I" is read as "ee" like in "see"
- "U" is read as "oo" like in "boots"
- "E" is read as "eh" and not the American "E"
- "O" is read as the letter "O"
- "Su" and "Tsu" are similar but different, you can read them both like the word "sue" but if you want to be accurate you would read "Ts" like it is at the end of "Hats" or like the sound that high hats (cymbals) of a drum set makes.
- The "u" is typ. dropped in many words. So "Suki" is ski, "desu" is des, and "masu" is mas for example.

I think that is everything but will interject when needed. Now please enjoy "Can't Let You Go"
