001. THE DRIVE DOWN TO COUSINS

Chapter one

"The drive down to cousins." 

It was the day that they were leaving for cousins, where on the wall, as Harry Styles fine line poster could be seen along with one for Harry's house, as the closed doors were swung open, Diana began sifting through everything in her closet for what she was gonna bring this summer, while her Harry's house record played, being on track one, music for a sushi restaurant, she pulled out a hoodie that said cousins on it, as she threw it behind her and onto her bed, she then grabbed a few sundresses and tops, as she turned walking over to her bed, throwing it all down on it, she spun around.

Heading toward's her dresser, she opened it, pulling out a lot of bathing suits, throwing them toward's the bed, she then pulled open another drawer grabbing shorts and skirts, the record turned to the next track, as late night talking began playing, she headed toward's her bed, throwing them down along with the rest of her clothes, there were sandals, flip flops and sneakers at the bottom of her bed.

As the door to her room opened, a sigh could be heard "god, no offense to your sister but coming in here is like a breath of fresh air." she shared, shutting the door behind her, she began looking at the Victoria secret perfumes that were on her dresser next to her make up, pulling the lids off and smelling the summer scents, Diana raised her brows "let me guess.." she said "talking about Conrad Fisher." her and Taylor said at the same time "yes!" Taylor voiced, grabbing the perfume that smelled most like the beach and walked over to her, throwing it down on her pile of stuff "I am bummed that your missing the beach match up with the boys team next weekend." she shared.

"I'm not! I mean I've been so focused on school and volleyball, going to cousins is like my only getaway." Diana shared, as Taylor looked to her pillows, grabbing the brown curly hair teddy bear, she turned holding it out to Diana "you gonna bring me with you?" she asked in a deeper voice, Diana brought her hand out and grabbed him "leave Harry bear Style alone!" she voiced, as Taylor laughed, she grabbed her hand and began jumping around and as she did, Diana dropped the bear, and began jumping around with her, as the two started singing to the song.

"Diana, we are leaving in the next ten minutes!" her mom yelled, and when she did, Diana stopped dancing as she turned looking at her duffel bag and all her stuff, her and Taylor went toward's it and began packing it all up "you keep me informed and I'll keep you informed from here." Taylor shared "always. And sooner then later you'll be coming down for me and Belly's birthday." Diana shared, as she zipped up the duffel bag, Taylor laughed "speaking of your turning sixteen! Which means it's gonna be.." she shared.

"The best summer ever! I know! Me and Jeremiah have been talking about it for months now. He says he's got the whole day planned." Hannah shared, picking the duffel bag up and putting it over her shoulder, Taylor looked at her with raised brows "Jeremy has things planned for your birthday?" she questioned, as Diana chuckled "Taylor.." she told her "oh, right! Because you two don't settle! You two just spend the entire summer trying to see who can make out with the most people." Taylor shared, laughing and as she did, Diana swung her duffel bag at her, as Taylor caught it, Diana walked over to her record player and stopped it.

Having packed into the car, they had headed off on the road for cousins, as Steven was driving, Belly was sitting in the passenger seat, while Diana sat in the back with their mom, Belly was blasting music and singing

"Can I play my music now?" Diana asked, as their mom raised her brows "can you guys actually turn it down a little, please?" she asked "yes, please." Steven said, taking one hand off the wheel to lower the volume "thank you, I want you to be better about helping out this summer. Like, don't just leave your dishes in the sink. Load them into the dishwasher. And not just your own dish, either, Steven." their mom shared "ha!" Diana voiced, pointing at him "what? But, I.." Steven said "I want you to be good houseguests." their mom shared "mom, Susannah has people who clean, doesn't she?" Steven asked.

As their mom then smacked Steven on the back of the head "Steven!" she voiced, as Diana's eyes went wide "ohh!" she voiced, laughing "ow! All right. All right. Sorry." Steven shared "are you?" Diana asked him, furrowing her brows, Steven leaned his hand back, hitting her on the neck "alright, enough, just be considerate and act like I raised you right. Steven and Diana, that means don't stay out too late." their mom shared ""mom, I'm too old for a curfew!" Steven voiced "mom, I'm always with Jere! Don't ruin his time by making him have to bring me home early!" Diana voiced "exactly! Cause that also cuts into my team!" Steven voiced.

"Wait, what about me? I don't get a curfew either, right?" Belly asked, and as she did, Diana and Steven laughed "what do you need a curfew for?" Steven asked her "yeah, you don't go anywhere." Diana mentioned "don't me jackasses." their mom told them "what?" Steven asked "we're not saying nothing that isn't true!" Diana voiced, as their mom sighed "Belly, we'll talk about it when something comes up." she shared, as Diana smiled "and Jere said this summer he was gonna teach me how to drive." she shared, as Belly turned to her "what?" she asked "yeah, I thought I was taking you and Belly." their mom shared.

As Diana raised her brows, looking at her "let's see you? Who's as much of a control freak as I am? Thank you very much." she shared, as Steven and Belly laughed "or my best friend who knows how to get me out of my own head and have a good time?' Diana asked, as their mom waved her off "alright. Alright, I get it. Then it'll be just me and Belly." she shared "actually, Steven promised he'd take me driving." Belly shared, as their mom raised her brows "seriously?" she asked "you're too judgy." Belly told her 'oh!" Steven voiced, seeing as both the twins were taking her down, he started laughing "excuse me?" their mom asked "we're sorry." Belly and Diana told her, as Steven continued laughing.

They soon pulled up to a gas station, they parked by the gas pump, as Steven looked to Diana "I'm gonna teach you to pump gas." he told her "ooh!" Diana voiced, turning and getting out of the car "Steven, if she.." their mom tried to tell him "I got it mom. You and Belly just go into the store, we'll be fine." Steven shared, pressing the button to open the gas tank, he then opened the door getting out of the car, and as he did, so did their mom and Belly as the two walked toward's the gas station.

Diana opened the gas tank, and began taking the cap off of it "hey." Steven told her, as Diana turned to her brother "you always fill the tank when it's half empty. That's roadtrip one o one. Now, you don't want to put regular unleaded into the car. You wanna use high octane premium." Steven shared "got it." Diana told him, nodding, Steven then grabbed the hose and turned putting it in the gas tank, he squeezed the handle "now you watch the numbers to see how much gas your putting in and you wanna stop when it's about half full." he shared, as the two watched the numbers rise.

It soon was done as he took the hose out and put it back in the gas pump, Diana screwed the cap back on and shut the gas tank, her and Steven turned around getting back into the car, where their mom and Belly were already back in there, Steven started the car up and began driving off.
