Why am I back in this hot country? I thought that Thailand was hot but Japan definitely has us beat in humidity. How do people live like this? And during summer at that? I glance out of the window as the driver goes down the same road that I've been going down every year for the last 8 years.

I've been required by my father to come and stay here for a month during every summer break in order to keep Chay happy. I can't think too much about Chay or our pending wedding that is creeping its way along. In 3 years, I will be tied to Chay in marriage. They really want to bind our families and choose to follow the wishes of a 5-year-old boy.

We eventually pull up to the house and the door is opened for me. I stepped out and stretched my legs. A few of the household staff grabbed my bags from the trunk and brought them inside to my room. They have assigned me the room adjacent to Porchay's room.

I asked the staff if anyone was home already since no one had come out to greet me. They informed me that Khun Kisaki and Khun Namphueng were out at their annual yakuza head meeting while P'Porsche was tagging along with them. It seems that N'Porchay is in his room studying with his friends and P'Takumi.

I made my way towards his room and before I could knock, I heard a loud whine from the room.

"Tai-go ga muzukashi yo!" Someone shouts in a dramatic tone.

I could recognise that voice anywhere. It looks like Porchay may be complaining about the Thai language by the tone of his voice but I'm not too sure.

"Muzukashikunai. Baka dattan da yo." Another voice said that sounded like his friend, Daichi. Ok, I think I can recognise the word Baka anywhere. I guess he called Chay dumb.

"Ehhhh?! Baka janai yo! Taku-chaaannn, kotobadzukai ga arai!" I almost could laugh at how adorable Chay sounds right now.

"Hai hai! Mimashita." It sounds like P'Takumi is comforting Chay.

"Ah ah ah! Gomen na, Shaei-chan! Gomen ne! Shaei-chan no tai-go ga heta janai yo." Daichi seems to apologise to Chay to make amends.

"Honto ni?" Chay sounds hopeful in response.

"Un! Honto-! Kawaii da yo!" That sounds like his other friend Kenya.

"Ishou ni tai-go ga benkyou shiteite arigatou!" He sounds happy again. I swear this boy can never hold a grudge.

"Iya ya ya. Tomodachi dattan da yo." Daichi responses.

I hear a loud thud in the room, and P'Takumi starts to laugh while Kenya and Daichi groan and complain. I hear a fake gag erupt from the room.

"Kimoi!" More giggles emerge. "Ima Kimu-san wa oretachi o mitara...." Daichi trails off at the end and I feel like I should make my presence known.

I knock on the door before I begin to open it. I guess they didn't hear me knock because I was greeted with the site of Daichi and Kenya flat on their backs with Chay on them hugging them both around their necks. Chay is giggling while the others seem to feign disgust. P'Takumi is on the other side of the table trying not to laugh as he observes the scene. I see Daichi softly patting Chay's hair as Kenya rubs his back. His hand is a little too low for my comfort even though I know that they don't have THAT kind of relationship.

I clear my throat to make my presence known once more. Both of their hands dropped off of him as if Chay's skin had burned them.

"Kimu-san! Mou kaeta!" Chay's face lights up once he sees me and scrambles to get up before rushing to stand in front of me as if I was the only thing that matter to him.
