Kalego didn't want to believe. No. He wouldn't believe. His own foolishness, his own ignorance, his late timing, was the cause of his beloved daughter's death, Y/n Kalego (I hope that's Kalego's last name, correct me if I'm wrong please so I don't have to fix this like 2000 times in future chapters).
"I'm sorry Mr. Kalego but-"

Kalego growled as he looked up at one of the teachers, Dali. The teachers have never seen Kalego so distraught before, no. The fact that they didn't even expect to accidentally kill a child, all because of a celebration and their decision to be less careful.
The celebration at Bablys, which is now banned and to never be brought back for safety was the Familiar Bonding Celebration, where the younger ones could enjoy the familiars and learn about them, that was it. But due to it being recent, most students were sloppy at to not at least scare a child that would come. It only stayed for a year before the death of Y/n Kalego, hence the scene happening.

Kalego looked down onto your dead body, your skin had become pale due to poisoning from one of the first years familiar, a venomous type of fish creature that had spat out it's needles at Y/n for getting too close, and the student brushing it off so casually, as if Y/n could survive. Hence student is now expelled.
The teacher seemed shocked, as they saw... tears, tears coming from Kalego as he tried his best to restrain a large amount to fall down and break apart, holding your body closer to his.

And next to him was Opera, a cat like demon that was his formal servant to Sullivan, however his ears were perked down, as though in the past he would pester Kalego just like the high-school days, he was smart enough to know when the time is not needed for such.
