Despite the library's quiet ambiance, the group's energy and joy were palpable. As they delved deeper into their discussion, the world outside faded away, leaving only the warmth and connection of their little circle.Ayeshe was the first one who was giving her ideas in front of others. The group comprises of four members, each one has their own topic to work on but help each other, that's what make them a group.
She sat with her friends, surrounded by notes and sketches, with a grim face waiting for her friends response. She had just finished sharing her project idea, and her friends' eyes sparkled with interest and enthusiasm.
"I can't believe how creative and innovative this is!" one friend exclaimed.
"I know, right? I've been brainstorming for weeks!" the Ayeshe chirmed, her eyes starts to shine with passion and gratitude, her long awaited project is finally completed and got good response from her friends.
Her friends nodded and asked questions, their minds racing with possibilities and suggestions. Her face lit up as she responded, her ideas flowing like a river.
With each passing minute, the her confidence grew, her vision becoming clearer and more defined. Her friends' support and encouragement fueled her determination, and she knew she was onto something special.
As they wrapped up their discussion, she felt a sense of gratitude and appreciation for her friends' input and enthusiasm. She knew she couldn't have done it without them, and that together, they could bring her project to life in ways she never thought possible.
"Alright thank you very much everyone. We will meet again to discuss about it further some other day." Ayeshe announced while packing her notes and assignments and books. Everyone nodded and stars taking their leave.
It's already mid-day, and now she is craving something to fill her stomach, when she left alone, tugged her bag straps and comes out of library. Her legs automatically taking her towards café down the lane.
She settled herself near the window table alone, her eyes cast downward, lost in the depths of her memories. Her mind wandered back to a time long past, a time of joy and laughter, of love and warmth. But like a fleeting dream, it had vanished, leaving behind only sorrow and longing.
She always tried to hide her sorrow and pain through her smile in front of the world as no one understand her heart nor she wants any sympathy.
Her gaze fell upon a beautiful couple outside the café, full of laughter, joy and life. She remembered her first love, time had passed, yet the pain remained, a constant reminder of what she had lost and what was forbidden to her. The ache of remembering her first love lingered, a persistent ache in her heart.
Like a ghost, it haunted her, refusing to fade away. Her eyes started to brimmed with tears, her chest heavy with the weight of her grief. She felt the sting of tears as they fell, like a leaves of fall.
She reminds herself, she had moved on but her heart refused to let go. The memories lingered, a bittersweet reminder of the one sided love she had, and the pain of letting go. As he never was her. She is happy for him and her friend Haya. But her heart still yearned for what could never be, to be loved by someone, a longing that refused to fade away.
She shakes her head as if those thoughts and memories will somehow leaves her while doing it. And used a tissue paper to wipe her tears.
Her phone started to ring a video call with a name "Amna" on it.
She takes a deep breath, drank water and put a smile on her face while receiving the call.
"Hey, what took you so long to pick up my phone." Amna complained as soon as she got her chance.
Ayeshe did a fake laugh and replied, "Eh- I was on my way here." And moved her phone in every direction to show her friend, where she was.
"Girl, you are in café all by your own. You did not even send me a text. I would have joined you." Amna sounded hurt dramatically while munching on cookies which she had placed on her lap.
"Amna, you are saying as if you are already back in London." Ayeshe waves her off.
"Oh I wish, I was struck up here you already know. But you know what finally I got my visa and I am flying back to you" she exclaimed putting down cookies on bed, her eyes glittering, Ayeshe' face brighten up as soon as she hears this news.
"I am waiting, come soon- " Ayeshe said hopefully and checked her smartwatch which was on her left hand wrist. " - Alas! I really wanted to talk more to you but I really have to go. See you." disconnected the call and sighs. She is in desperate need of me time.
