-Inside Zentle castle dungeons-
'Step, Step, Step'
"---" (People yelling)
"----" (People yelling)
'Step, Step, Step'
Normally you'd hear the yell of those who had been imprisoned, those who plead for their lives.
That is if you were in a regular prison cell.
But the people Damien was off to see were not inside a regular prison cell that he had passed as he moved at a fast pace.
He ignored the silence of the left and right prison cells which had now become empty as he only looked straight forward at the very end of the dungeon at a large wooden brown door with only a small square bar as a window door.
But in this case, it happened to be covered up.
Two of his Reynolds knights stood on watch on the left and right side of the door and bowed politely as they opened the large brown heavy door.
It seemed it was quite soundproof because as soon as the door opened the yells became clear as day.
"His grace cannot hold us accountable for simply educating the young master he doesn't know how my way of teaching is!" (Irna, yelled)
Irna, the etiquette dancing teacher yelled furiously.
"How dare he question my loyalty I have not betrayed his loyalty! Is this how he pays me?!" (Hictor, yelled)
Hictor, the history teacher yelled furiously.
"You think the Emperor will let it go when he hears that you've detained a scholar like me?!" (Mortiz, yelled)
Mortiz, the math teacher yelled furiously.
"This is unjust all I did was take care of young master Elliot all my life only for a simple misunderstanding! It's the Duchess fault! His Grace was never like this! He's become blinded by her! She must have enchanted him!" (Nanny Zoa, yelled)
And of course, the nanny who still didn't know her place.
"That's true! It's the Duchess's fault! Things weren't like this before!" (Mortiz, yelled)
"I demand to see His Grace-" (Hictor, yelled)
"And what are you planning to tell me?" (Damien, asked)
Immediately the the private dungeon cell went silent as Damien stepped in with a cold tone.
There was no pity for them in his tone or his expression.
"Was it not you who put yourselves in that position?" (Damien, asked)
"Was it not you who have betrayed me on your own?" (Damien, asked)
"Yet you dare to defile my wife's position and name in your traitorous mouth?" (Damien, asked)
No one spoke, they all knew his words were not wrong.
There were a couple of knights and servants among them who at least were not yelling like the teachers and the nanny.
One happened to be Sir Knight George.
How could he even dare to raise his head?
It was nothing more than shame he must have felt.
