In the thick of battle, the Maximoff triplets and Ultron face off against the Avengers. The air is charged with the sounds of clashing metal, explosions, and the shouts of combatants. Pietro, moving with blinding speed, delivers powerful blows, keeping several Avengers occupied with his relentless assault.

Amidst the chaos, Ultron's mechanical voice cuts through the noise. "It's time for some mind games," he says, his tone dripping with malicious intent. His eyes gleams with a sinister light as he turns to Wanda and Milana.

Wanda and Milana nod in unison, their expressions grim. They know their task, and they embrace it with a shared sense of purpose. Silently, they split up, each moving towards their targets with stealth and precision.

Wanda, her eyes glowing with red energy, approaches Thor and Natasha. She focuses on Thor first, her powers seeping into his mind. His confident demeanour wavered as he was plunged into a vision of Asgard in flames, his people crying out for help he couldn't give. His hammer felt heavy, almost impossible to lift, and he saw himself failing as their protector.

Next, Wanda turned her attention to Natasha. The Black Widow, known for her steely resolve, suddenly found herself back in the Red Room, reliving the horrors of her past training. The familiar coldness of the facility, the merciless drills, and the faces of those she had been forced to betray swam before her eyes. Natasha's breath quickened, her usually steady hands trembling with remembered fear.

Meanwhile, Milana silently made her way to Steve Rogers. The Maximoff girl turns herself ultraviolet, so that he couldn't notice her coming towards him, and her eyes glow with an intense purple as she hones in on Captain America. She knew his strength came from his unyielding sense of duty and moral clarity. But from looking into his mind, she also knows that his greatest weakness is that he feels as though he doesn't belong in this time, or any.

Milana almost feels pity for the soldier after seeing what his biggest fear is, but quickly bruishes it off as she remembers what she's there to do.

Since Steve can't see the Maximoff girl, he takes a step back, unknowingly making her stumble and fall onto the ground. The impact is enough to break her illusion, and the soldier is able to see her as clear as day.

Despite there being a war between their two sides, Steve immediately offers a hand to help Milana up, looking apologetic for what he's done.

"I'm sorry." He tells her. "Here, let me help you."

Smirking at his kindness, Milana takes Steve's hand, her breath hitching as she does. When she's on her two feet, Milana keeps her hand locked in with the solider's unknowingly, and stares straight into his blue eyes.

"You don't have to do this, you know." He says comfortingly, almost pleading with the girl. "You're better than this."

"Please, you say that as if you know me." Milana rolls her eyes. "You have no idea who I am, Mr America."

"No, but I'd like to." He tells her hopefully, confusing Milana.

"What?" She furrows her brows for a moment.

"Come with me." Steve says suddenly. "With us, I mean. Come to the tower, and you can bring your brother and sister with you too. Just...let us help you. Let me help you."

"I don't need your help." She says cooly, yet with a sweet expression on her face. She pulls the solider in close, so close that their noses are almost touching. "I just need what's in here."

She then uses her free hand to play with Steve's mind, showing him a nightmare based on his worst fear. She shows him a dance hall, filled with soliders and people from his past all having a fabulous time, celebrating the end of the war. There, Steve stands in the middle, looking clueless amongst all the smiling faces. Just as he turns around, all the people he had seen previously has disappeared, showcasing just how lonley and useless Steve feels when there isn't a war to be fought, and just how out of place he feels that he is in both centuries.
