chapter one

Summary john and marlena are  both doctors and they fallen in love.

Chaper one.

John Black sat alone in a corner
at a Bar.

John elbows propped on the table
as he nursed the last drops of his scotch.

John's eyebrows rose as his eyes fixated on the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

The woman was sat at the bar in a floor length black dress that subtly highlighted her every curve.

John could only see her face in profile as she laughed with the bartender, but her delicate features proved to him that she was indeed beautiful.

John simply sat and studied her, smiling ashe walked over to where she sat at the bar.

"Hey.

Matt greeted him.

Double scotch, single malt please.

John requested as matt nodded and left to get him his drink, and leaving him alone with the woman who had captivated him quite spectacularly.

So is this a good place to hang out?.

John asked the woman.

I wouldn't know, I've never been here before.

The woman replied.

"Oh, you know what, I haven't either, First time here and I'm new in town.

Can  I  buy you another drink?.

John asked the woman.

Ok.

Marlena replied as she holding out her hand.

Marlena.

She said as she offered him her hand.

John taking his in hers and shaking it lightly.

Marlena.

John repeated as he liking the way it sounded and deciding it suited her perfectly,

John.

He said as he not breaking eye contact and keeping hold of her hand a little longer than necessary.

After getting their drinks, marlena and john went back to his table.

Marlena smiled as john pulled a chair out for her before sitting down himself.

So, where are you from?.

Marlena asked john.

"I'm from New York.

John replied

"So you're from around here then?.

John asked marlena

Well, i been in this city for six years now but I'm from Colorado.

What brings you all the way from New York?.

Marlena asked john.

"I needed a change, my life in New York was all wrong and I came out here.

John told marlena.

Do you another drink?.

Marlena asked as she attempting to steady herself as she stood up.

John reached out quickly to grab
Marlena's elbow, preventing her from teetering too much

"Yes, but you sit down, I'll get them  they may not make it back here if you go.
