Before we began I would like to preface this by mentioning this fiction is going to be rather well...Indulgent!

MyStreet(and by proxy Phoenix Drop High) were both series that I had enjoyed at a younger age, now that I'm older I am very much aware of the faults, of the weird places the script went, and the rather for better lack of word "cringey" plot devices used. Which is the very reason why I am going to be going in my own direction- at least somewhat. I still want to make an effort for some cannon events to occur, truthfully I believe it wouldn't be the series if I just stripped it of everything that happens.

Some events will be switched around, the canon timeline is merely suggestion when it comes to the whims of me :)

I'm going to refrain from spilling to much on what I plan to do in regards to plot events and whatnot, due to A.) Spoilers and B.) Where would the fun in that be?

Now then onto general warnings!

-Season one of PDH is pretty light in terms of it's violence, but I would still like to just issue a warning for canon-typical violence (I'll let you figure out what I mean in terms of severity on your own :))

-Warnings for mentions and thoughts of said death (Specially heavy in prologue)

-I don't want a "perfect" protagonist, flaws are what make us, us. The reader featured in this story, doesn't get much chance to reflect on their post mortem experiences, and may seem like they are perfectly fine, but do be aware I plan on fleshing out her psyche. Thus meaning shit will hit the fan, but It will get better

-On that note, GenZ humor will be used in moderation

-You may notice in this fiction, that it's the side characters who will get more romantic moments with the reader. This isn't to say, that the main cast *won't* get romantic scenes with reader, they will don't worry.

-I will not be giving myself a upload schedule, mainly because I feel they just make me less inclined to stick to them

-Do comment and leave a like if you enjoy, feel free to share your thoughts as well, I quite love reading 'em

-I am fixing to start my first semester as a freshmen in uni(Third week in August!), so updates will most definitely be sporadic, the hope is I settle in quickly

-I've tried writing and posting my work before, but I have left multiple things discontinued before, I had a problem sticking through with it, should that happen in this work I do apologize. However I am pacing myself rather well and I think I'll be able to push through and see this come to fruition

I will not be sharing the official love interests list as of yet! There are some characters I have already confirmed in the notes app of my phone where I did some haphazard chapter outlines, but I think it'll be more fun to let people guess who they all could be :)

That being said, if you have someone you really want to have as a love interest don't be afraid to ask

Alright so, Vicem Alteram is almost a year old, at least it is on Quotev! After some deliberation and gauging opinion from my audience over on Quotev I've decided to go ahead and begin cross-posting this story on both platforms!
