Y/N was the son of United States President Andrew Jackson, while he was only a General of the state of Louisiana. Being the eldest son of Andrew Y/N expected to revieve much resposiblity as he was next in line in the family, but do to him being born of one of Andrew's slaves his younger brothers and sisters were favored over him. So y/n lived the life of a black sheep, going out to parties, getting in fights, and getting into trouble, because he knew their would be nothing more expected of him, but he always had time for his mother. Y/N's mother may have been a slave, but she was a powerful witch. She taught Y/N everything she knew and he picked it up in a snap. Y/N was seen as a prodigy in the covens of New Orleans but he despised their way of magic and saw it as evil.
Y/N went to a meeting of all the witches in New Orleans, where he met Papa Tunde. Y/N Immediately took a dislike to him and his sacrificial magic. He listened to Tunde talk of Vampires secretly controlling the supernatural communities of New Orleans and while many were enraged by this Y/N was intrigued. Y/N saw the vampires as a potential ally. Tunde didn't like the Vampires and Y/N didn't like Tunde so the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Out of curiosity, Y/N followed Tunde and his sons to a meeting that they were having with the vampires. Y/N cast a spell that made himself invisible and he followed Tunde into a bar. Their he watched as Tunde had a discussion with whom he picked up during is sneaking were vampires named Klaus and Elijah. After Tunde and his sons left Y/N made himself known and made a deal with the brother he would tell them how to rid themselves of Tunde if they made him a vampire. Klaus Intrigued by the offer asked why he would betray one of his own. Y/N told the brothers that the witches of New Orleans were not his own, and that they could kill the whole lot of them for all he cared. Klaus laughed and said this may become of glorious friendship, fed Y/N some of his blood and then snapped his neck. When Y/N awake Klaus handed him a glass of blood Y/N drank it and his transition was completed, but Y/N casted a spell and the glass exploded, Y/N had kept his magic and became a Heretic.
