The ringmaster, Clipse (Taken from the word Eclipse to form her name) was originally a puppet, controlled by whatever master and/or caretaker she was assigned to. One day, she was shipped in a big white box to a particular master who wasn't the nicest, he gave her to rotten children who would damage her. Clipse wasn't used to this treatment, for most of the masters she'd have would put her on the shelf for display, and when that master passed away, she'd be given to their relative, so most of her masters were nice. She found that this master had awoken something inside her wooden body; free will, the ability to move and think freely. Clipse snapped finally and killed her wicked master, going on to turn herself into a life-sized, human-passing, being.
Clipse went to a guy who was selling beans, and she planted one in the middle of nowhere, and it grew into a circus, one of her own.
Clipse found a little girl who was almost dead, she took her in and replaced her heart, left eye, right arm, and left leg with robotic ones. That girl she later named Polar, and Polar became Clipse's right-hand woman.
Clipse and Solar went looking for more people to bring in, and they found this kid whose arm was beyond fixing, bending the wrong way. Clipse took him in and gave him a prosthetic arm, "What's your name, Dear?" Clipse asked.
"I'm Josh," he replied, looking up at the ringmaster.
"Well, I don't like your name, so, your name is now Saturn with an e," Clipse replied, that permanent smile on her face as she smiled at him, "You can call me Clipse, or the ringmaster."
