Chapter 1

Hey, ya'll! So you know @_ProbablyTiredGal_ ? Yeah, that's me, but in an alt account! So I just wanted to explain that this isn't a fully active account due to it being an alt and me not having motivation for either of my profiles, sometimes, so I won't be posting much here. If ya'll need an update on this book, please leave a message on my main acc and I'll make more chapters. Alrighty, enough with the chit-chat.

You walked through the rainy streets to your work with your umbrella up. It wasn't that far from your place anyways.

You would always come to this place when you were a teenager, and now that you were working here, you decided to make the best of it.

You sighed and hung your coat on the chair behind the security desk. Looking at the computer screen, you frowned.

"Why're you here so early?"

A robotic voice spoke up from the front of the desk. You groaned.

"Sun, would you please stop appearing suddenly?" You turned to face him, though clearly not phased by his attempt to scare you. "Heh, alright then! But seriously, why're you here this early? It's barely opening time for the Daycare." He frowned. "Something bugging you?" Your eyebrows furrowed further at that notion.

"Could you please let me concentrate? Geez, you act like my sister sometimes when you're not on working hours." You rolled your eyes at him, unimpressed and focused back on the screen. He chuckled. "It's barely 5' in the morning, Sunshine! What'd you expect me to do?" Ah. There was the Sundrop you knew. "Heh, alright Sunny. I'll just take a quick nap, 'kay?" "But-" You passed out the moment you said that and the lights turned off, completely ignoring Sun and what he was about to say.

'Don't hurt her!' Sun yelled in Moon's head. "Yeah, yeah, shut up. I know I won't and I never have. See?" His metallic finger grazed your cheek and brushed a strand of H/C hair back despite Sun's protests.

"See? Quit worrying about me, brother. I'm...I'm not gonna hurt anyone anymore. The virus is gone, Sun. She's gone. Now Y/N's here. They aren't gonna get hurt or hurt me." He crossed his arms. Sun went quite quiet for a moment before sighing. 'Alright, alright, I'll let you near them. The kids are still a no, no though. Who knows if that stupid virus is gonna reactivate?' Moon snorted. "Like I said. It's gone. Oh, did you not hear me? I said it was GONE." The moon-themed animatronic grit his teeth. Sun mentally opened his mouth to say something but ultimately decided against it.

Ever since Freddy had adopted that troublemaker and the police were involved, Vanny had mysteriously disappeared, and along with her, the virus. Moon had become more docile and quiet since then. Even though he was still a bit snappy, he wouldn't hurt anyone without an extremely good reason.

Sundrop, on the other hand had become wary and paranoid (plus being more snappy at Moon I might add) of each person sent to their Daycare because of the possibility of them inserting another virus into Moondrop. Y/N was probably the most decent out of them. They either dipped once they saw the kids, or they got nervous around Sun because of his height.

The lights soon turned back on and Sun went to wake you up.

"Rise and shine, Y/N! It's 6' o clock and we've gotta get ready!" He cheerfully smiled. You groaned and turned the computer back on, immediately frowning again.

"Sunshine, what's wrong?" Sun asked worriedly. Moon finally decided to speak up. 'Are you sure we should pry-' "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I GET IT! YOU CARE! WELL, SO DO I! WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT UP?!" Sun snapped at Moon. He audibly winced at his brother's outburst and Sun froze abruptly. "O-oh my gosh, Moon- I- I'm sorry!- I didn't-" 'shhh, shhh, it's alright Sun. You didn't mean to.' Moon interrupted Sun's panic. This eventually caught the attention of Y/N, who was sitting at the computer.

"Uh...everything okay there, Sun?" You stood up and walked over to Sun who was clutching his head in a panic. He immediately backed away and crouched over beneath the bridge. "N-no, stay- way- Van- ssa- virus- evil- bu- nny-" Sun was glitching, which usually never happened. Maybe something about your stance triggered a response? "Sun...? Sunnydrop? Helloooo? Buddy? Y/N, here? Anyone there in your head?" You worriedly tapped his shoulder as he panicked.

Suddenly, a deeper voice yelled at you. "MOONFLOWER, TURN OFF THE LIGHTS....NOW!" The voice yelled at you, from Sun's body. You immediately complied and ran to the security desk. 'Moon, just what do you think you're doing?!' Sun yelled at Moon from inside their head. Moon kept quiet as he waited for the lights to turn off...ah. They finally did.

[Moon POV (first person)]

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as I came out. Sun should take a rest from Daycare duties today. After all, Fazbear has removed the warning about me a few weeks before. My head was also eerily quiet this time. No Sun yelling. Seems like his glitching used up his battery. I'll just transfer it later to him.

"So...you're Moon, right?"

A voice asked. Ah, yes. Y/N. I had almost forgotten they were here.

"...yep."

I replied in my usual tone. They seemed to be taken aback by my appearance a bit.

"I understand how you're feeling, Moonflower. Sun here, usually never lets me out until the kids are asleep- and you're also asleep."

[Back To Y/N POV]

"I understand how you're feeling, Moonflower. Sun here, usually never lets me out until the kids are asleep- and you're also asleep."

He mused while sporting a worried expression.

"...I see. It seems Sun has been a bit...overprotective and...paranoid recently."

You carefully chose your words, careful not to accidentally offend the animatronic before you. He smiled apologetically at you.

"I...apologize that you had to experience one of Sun's...outbursts?" He sounded unsure, like a question. "Ah. I think the proper wording for that would be 'glitching'." You replied, mustering up the information you knew about this situation. Chica also happened to have these 'glitches' whenever someone asked if her beak could be taken off. Seems Gregory did quite a number on her. Poor girl.

"Thanks..." Moon mumbled, interrupting your thoughts. "No problem, Moon." You replied, going back to the desk. "Sooo...since Sunny is out-of-order for now, do you want me to assign you to both Daytime AND Nighttime shifts?" Ypu spoke up. Moon slowly nodded and frowned. It seems Sun had recovered his battery and was protesting against your words. Sighing, Moon mumbled some annoyed replies back, wincing every once in a while, probably from Sun's volume.

"...Moon, could you please tell Sun that he has to rest? This has happened to Chica many times before and she's taken breaks from shows before. It won't be a big problem." You sighed, clearly annoyed by Sun's protests against Moon taking over, although you couldn't hear them. Moon smiled gratefully and mumbled a reply. He audibly sighed in relief after that.

"Heh. Thanks, Moonflower. I don't think I would've accomplished that without 'cha." The animatronic grinned. You grinned in response to that.

Oh. Right. It was time to let the children in.
