Chapter-07

POV: Amelia Grey

I just got out of my last class for the day with Evie and we were heading to the vending machine while talking about the beach house holiday we were planning for next month when suddenly I heard a voice I knew well behind me from a distance. 

"Who is that?" I saw Aaron with a girl I didn't know. They were laughing. I thought he didn't have any friends so he was jobless enough to follow me around...

"Who?" Evie looked towards where I was looking with her phone in her hand while she was texting someone. She has been getting busy with group assignments lately.

"That girl with Aaron" Why should I care though? 

"um... a friend I'm guessing or maybe his girlfriend." she guesses, and it makes me turn away from them. 

"Oh come now. Don't make that expression. I will start feeling like I must give someone a good beating for you." Evie shouts loud enough for me to feel like it was a shout. It wasn't a shout though, she tries.

"my expression? What are you talking about?"

Evie sighs and opens the phone camera putting it in front of my face "Look at your face." 

wow... "Oh... god, I look like I'm gonna cry..."

"Exactly! so-"

"Amy!" His voice was loud enough to attract attention nearby.

"o-oh hey, Aaron" I was NOT expecting him to call my name out like that.

He walks over to us, acknowledging Evie's presence by slightly bowing with a smile and then turns to me, "Are you busy?" he asks.

"no... but aren't you?" I glance at the girl he was talking to earlier.

"no? Not at all"  glances back and then looks at you "Amy... is something wrong?"

"huh? wrong? no not really?"

frowning he asks "Then why were you crying?"

"oh that- um..." I glace at Evie 

she sighs "It's nothing, Just some dust flew into her eye so."

"y-yes so-" I SWEAR to god that my soul is gonna leave my body cause he takes my face in both his hands and bends down to look at my face better "um. what are you doing?" I'm flustered and thats a natural reaction!

"checking, you sure you're okay?" his serious expression making me even more flustered.

"....yea absolutely, definitely, obviously, 100 percent fine, okay." I sure am embarrassing myself a lot around him...

"ok then, can I borrow her for some time?" his skeptical expression turning into an happy expression as he turns towards Evie asking her permission?

Evie busy texting someone was surprised when Aaron waved a hand in front of her face,  "huh? what? oh yea! sure! go ahead, I'm gonna head back." she winks at me and leaves. Its not like that Evie... I think.

"come on" Aaron says as he takes my hand in his and pulls me towards the gates, outside the campus.

"where are we going?" SHUSH! my heart! why is it acting up?! I should consider a visit to the hospital.

As I ask him he doesn't even turn back and quickly replies, "To the cafe down the street. We have to talk." Thats when I hesitate and we end up stopping on the side walk.
