"Shit, she's cold as ice," Shizuka glared at Makoto when he touched Yoshiko's arm, immediately retracted his hand at how cold she was.

"Sorry, the fire went out," Makoto replied.

"No wonder she's not coming to her consciousness," Shizuka shook his head, "Carry her to Kiyoshi's bed and put a blanket on her. Light a fire while you're at it."

Makoto nodded and kneeled down, carrying her in his arms. He was surprised by how heavy she weighed. He stumbled through the tunnel and entered another. He kicked a few times at Kiyoshi's door, feeling like his arms were going to give up on him. This girl had more muscle than he thought. Kiyoshi opened the door and made an ugly face at the unconscious girl in his arms.

"What do you want, and why is she in your arms? She gives me a goddamn headache." Kiyoshi hissed.

"Her body temperature is too low." Makoto slipped into his room and towards Kiyoshi's bed. He carefully put her on the mattress and put a thick fur blanket on top of her, "Light her a fire, will ya?"

"No, I'm out of here," Kiyoshi replied dryly, stopping when Makoto grabbed his arms and narrowed his eyes. He groaned exaggeratingly and frowned at the sleeping girl, "You're so fucking annoying. Fine."

"Thank you for being so understanding." Makoto rolled his eyes and left the room.

Kiyoshi closed the door and stomped up to Yoshiko. Her lips were almost blue. He clicked his tongue and touched her forehead. She really was cold. He lit a small fire in the corner of the room and sighed, sitting a safe distance away from the flames. He avoided looking at her as it still made his head hurt, even if the headache wasn't as strong as before. He just hoped she'd wake up soon and he'd get some clues as to why his body reacted this way.

Meanwhile, back in the tunnel with the cells, Makoto had a few questions for Shizuka, "You do realise how much trouble there's going to be, don't you?"

"With?" Shizuka raised an eyebrow.

"She knows her brother is alive, and he might get his memories back," Makoto stated.

"He won't." Shizuka said, "Garaki's machine did a darn good job."

"Garaki was sentenced to death a year back. He no longer exists, and neither do his inventions. If Daisuke gets his memories back, we can't erase them again."

"I don't see a problem." Shizuka grinned, "You're forgetting the blood oath. Even if he gets his memories back, he's bound to me forever. Going against me means instant death, and he's well aware of that."

"You're too carefree," Makoto sighed.

Shizuka shrugged and leaned back on the wall, "If we want to eradicate all these useless and weak monkeys, we need power. Young minds are easy to manipulate. Once we've got Akimitsu Yoshiko in our palm, we've basically secured ourselves victory."

"And what about that blonde guy who follows her around everywhere?" Makoto asked, "You were pretty keen on having him on the team, too, months back."

"Oh, don't worry. He'll come looking for her very soon, and we'll have him, too."

Bakugo entered the dorms, taking off his hero boots and slipping on a random pair of fuzzy slippers. He got bullied by Hawks and his classmates into going back to the dorms with Shinsou and Tokoyami to get some rest. Bakugo remained silent as he went up to his floor. Instead of going to his room, he went to hers and found Bear deep asleep in his cot. His chest tightened at the sight of her bed already made. He felt empty.
