Wooyoung looked at san who was leaning over on this hospital bed in a sitting position sleeping uncomfortably. He wanted to ask him to join him but at the same time disturbing him didnt feel right.

Looking at him made him feel like they had no difficulties in life. Thats how pleasant he seemed. It made wooyoung feel much more reasurred seeing san sitting right beside him.

Although he felt secured, a hint of uneasiness was always present. He felt like someone is watching him when in reality nobody is present near him other than san.

Wooyoung called sans name upon having no easiness anymore. San woke up tiredly rubbing his own back and shoulders due to the pain.

"𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?" san asked in a sleepy voice trying to sleep again.
"𝘌𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘯." wooyoung said. San seemed to catch upon his seriousness and woke up to catch the conversation.

"𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵? 𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯?" he asked, his voice sounding sore and rough since he just woke up.

"𝘕𝘰, 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥, 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘦."

When he said that he thought san wouldnt take it seriously and would just say that no one was watching him.

But san began looking around and opened door to cgeck if someone was actually there and locked the door safely.

"𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘈𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?" san asked.

His voice sounded like he cares.

Right.

Care.

He still cared obviously. But now that their relationship was confusing, he didnt think he would care about his emotions anymore. It felt different now. He felt special. As if san had feelings for him too. But it isnt true right?

Wooyoung was staring at him.

San raised an eyebrow at this.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵?" he asked.

Wooyoung could only shake his head upon that. He felt as if he was caught. But ignoring that his mind came up with a question.

When wooyoung was worried about san, san went crazy about calling a doctor. But what now?

At what cost? The double standards made him feel like a pet nodding at his master. Tsk.

"𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨...𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘯?" san asked.

'A lot actually. A lot more than you coulf imagine.' he wanted to say. But he didnt. Cuz he knew the answer. San would say it was to protect him. He was tired of all these explanations and these frequent arguments they had. So he kept quiet. Yet, his inner demon answered that,

"𝘈 𝘭𝘰𝘵. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵?" His sweet sarcastic voice made san sigh.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸?" san asked.

The way san asked him felt like san was tired of him. As if he was annoyed. San seemed to be frustrated. As much as he wanted to ask this so badly, he didnt wanna seem like a person who is constantly picking up on faults.
