Callie ran her finger down Iris's side, feeling her soft skin rise where her ribs jutted out and the goosebumps that had formed there. The smaller girl shuddered slightly against her touch. The air smelled of pure warmth from the candle they had lit earlier while the slight chill in the room felt sharp on Callies exposed shoulders.

Dressed in a dark gray hoodie and blue jeans lying beside her was Iris. Her eyes stayed glued to the straps on Callies shirt as opposed to looking her directly in the eyes, but their hands were laced together and she rubbed circles on the soft skin beneath her thumb.

The lack of eye contact didn't bother Callie, if anything it gave her more chances to look at her features completely openly. She was constantly studying Iris's face like she had never seen it before. She couldn't get enough of noticing exactly where all her freckles were and the shape of her features. She would say she fell in love with her even more everytime she caught a glimpse of her, but she doubted that was possible.

Iris was already the thing she loved most in her life. The feelings she felt towards her were almost overwhelming at times. The amount of times she had internal panic sessions over the stuff Iris did towards her, or in general, was too many to count. She didn't think there was a way to fall harder for her.

That being said, Iris was still so unpredictable. Every moment Callie believed she was the closest she could ever be to her, that she knew every last bit of information there was to know, she would drop another fact about herself like it was never that important. It was always that important to Callie. Recently, Iris broke out her glasses that she had apparently owned for years and Callie's heart nearly stopped. Just when she began to think Iris really couldn't get any cuter she proved her so incredibly wrong.

"What are you smiling at?" Iris spoke, her voice soft.

Callie realized then that she had been staring directly at her lady's face with a slight grin. Iris could totally see her, even if she wasn't looking at her directly. It was a little creepy. Oops!

"You," Callie replied, placing her traveling hand right on the dip of Iris's waist. She liked how perfectly it fit.

Iris hummed quietly and looked up to meet her eyes. Despite how often it happened now, Callie couldn't stop the occasional breath that caught in her throat when Iris really looked at her. She reached up to brush a flyaway blonde hair out of Callies face, smiling at her softly as she did and letting her hand linger on her neck.

"You're so cute."

Callie could feel her smile widening and her face heating up as it always did when Iris told her such sweet things. It didn't happen all the time, so when the other girl did bring something up she knew it was completely genuine. With the boost of confidence and urges she got from the compliment she snaked her arm fully around Iris's waist and pulled herself as close as she could to her. She heard Iris squeak against her will and giggled.

She traced shapes on the warm skin of Iris's back.

"You're so sweet I can't contain myself," She said honestly.

"What do you mean?" Iris asked, her tone settling somewhere between teasing and genuinely questioning.

"I just wanna squeeze you all over the place like a crazy person," Callies answered. Her face fell to bury into the fabric on her hoodie.

"You should do that then," Iris said above her, poking the back of her neck to get her to come back up.

Even this far into their relationship, Callie still got nervous about touching Iris so suddenly. Times when she actually got permission and she could tell the other girl wanted her to were nice because it gave her less to worry about. She looked at Iris in the eyes for a quick moment before pulling her flush against her and squeezing her so close. The position was a little awkward as she only had full use of one of her arms, but she made it work anyways. She held on as tight as she could. She could feel Iris giggle at the feeling and it gave her a mischievous idea.

She pulled away tightly from the embrace to place her hand in the area right under Iris's ribs. She rubbed light circles there at first and then pressed down. Iris let out a noise that was in between a laugh and a gasp before she involuntarily jerked her body away. Callie had learned over time exactly where Iris was ticklish and how to reach those spots perfectly. It was pretty much the only thing Callie could do to her that she couldn't get back at her for.

Iris gave her the same look she always did. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was pressed into just a small line on her face as she looked at her girlfriend. Callie thought she looked adorable and naturally had to continue with her plan. As quickly as she could she climbed on top of Iris. She looked down at her as she started to smile.

Callie lightly grazed her fingers over the same area as before and then pushed down again with the same amount of pressure. Iris tried to turn away from her as she giggled, but Callie held her in place and continued onto other areas. She pressed down in the expanse of skin just below her hips. She knew the skin there was sensitive so Iris's reaction was even more intense. She let out a real, true laugh and Callie's heart swelled.

Her hands moved to all the other areas that made Iris laugh, not letting up until she had reached them all. Underneath her, Iris squirmed and tried to roll away while still letting out those laughs that made Callie giggle with her.

"Callieee," Iris whined out in between laughs.

"What?" Callie asked with a wide smile, easing up the tickling to let Iris have a moment. She wasn't so bad.

"You're so evil," Iris answered, still smiling.

"Mmm I don't think so," Callie giggled.

She leaned down to leave a soft kiss on Iris's cheek. Quickly, Iris turned her head towards her and kissed her lips instead. Callie kissed her back, a wave of heat spreading through her body as if she hadn't kissed her a million times before. She deepened it, opening her mouth slightly against Iris's.

Suddenly, her bottom lip was taken between Iris's teeth. Callie gasped quietly and pulled away from the kiss.

"What was that for!?"

Iris smiled up at her. Her hair was splayed out against the pillows and hands had found their place on Callies hips. The moonlight from the window was reflecting off of her face, casting it in a blue light. Iris always looked so beautiful in blue. Iris always looked so beautiful.

"Payback for being evil."

Callie kissed her again!
