Lydia Hawthorne, known by her codename Eclipse, sprints across the rooftops of Neon Haven's Sprawl district. Her athletic frame moves with precision and grace, each leap and landing executed flawlessly. The neon lights below cast an otherworldly glow on her, highlighting the electric blue streaks in her jet-black hair and the circuitry patterns on her fitted tank top.

The Sprawl is a labyrinth of decaying buildings and narrow alleys, a stark contrast to the sleek Core of the city. Here, crime and corruption thrive, and tonight, a Gamma Class Monster is reportedly on the loose.

Eclipse pauses at the edge of a rooftop, her electric blue eyes scanning the chaotic streets below. Her gaze intensifies as she activates her augmented reality sunglasses, overlaying vital information onto her field of vision. A slight luminescent glow flickers in her eyes, a sign of her powers at work.

The wind tugs at her dark leather duster coat, revealing glimpses of the bodysuit and gear beneath. Her fingers brush against the handles of her dual high-tech revolvers, ready for action. Every muscle in her body is primed, every sense heightened.

She spots movement in an alley below—a large, metallic figure slipping through the darkness. With a fluid motion, Eclipse descends from the rooftop, landing silently in a crouch. Her lightweight, silent boots absorb the impact, and she swiftly moves towards the alley, her gloves enhancing her grip on the rough surfaces.

As she approaches, the air grows tense. Her heightened senses pick up the faint, distinct growl of the Monster. The Gamma Class threat is close. She presses a fingertip to her choker comm link, whispering, "Eclipse, in position."

A deep, guttural roar echoes through the narrow alley, sending a shiver down her spine. With a deep breath, Eclipse advances, ready to face the Monster head-on.

Eclipse advances, her steps deliberate and silent. The alley is shrouded in shadows, but her enhanced vision cuts through the darkness. She sees the Gamma Class Monster clearly now—a hulking, cyber-enhanced beast with metal plating and glowing red eyes. It moves with a predatory grace, its claws scraping the ground, sending sparks flying.

Eclipse's fingers flex over the grips of her revolvers. She's faced Monsters like this before, but each encounter demands respect. The beast turns, sensing her presence. Its eyes lock onto hers, and it lets out another roar, louder this time, reverberating through the narrow space.

She doesn't flinch. Instead, she raises one revolver, the smart targeting system locking onto the Monster's weak points. With a steady hand, she fires. The energy projectile strikes the beast's shoulder, causing it to stagger and emit a mechanical whine of pain.

The Monster charges, closing the distance in a heartbeat. Eclipse rolls to the side, her movements fluid and practiced. She rises swiftly, firing again, aiming for the exposed joints and sensors. The beast's speed is formidable, but her enhanced reflexes keep her a step ahead.

As the Monster lunges, she activates her quantum tethering power, invisible strands anchoring it mid-leap. It roars in frustration, unable to move. Eclipse uses the moment to switch to her plasma rifle, adjusting the power setting to a lethal level. She takes aim and fires, a searing bolt of energy cutting through the air and striking the Monster's core.

The beast convulses, its systems overloading. With a final, defiant snarl, it collapses, sparks and smoke rising from its fallen form. Eclipse approaches cautiously, revolvers still at the ready. Once she's sure it's incapacitated, she holsters one revolver and pulls out her wrist-mounted hacking device. A quick scan confirms the kill.

Eclipse glances around the alley, ensuring there are no additional threats. Satisfied, she pulls out her data chip necklace and snaps a quick selfie with the Monster's corpse. It's her way of confirming the kill—unorthodox, but effective.
