Erin POV

My heat is finally over. Thank god. I can finally leave the bedroom without Theo being glued to me.

"Hey guys." I say when I reach the kitchen Ryker, Adam, Taylor and Alice are all in the kitchen. Theo is behind me holding my hand.

"Hey. Finally over then?" Taylor says. I nod and sigh in relief.

"Thank his too. It was so painful. You guys are fucking lucky." I say as I pull my hand out of Theo's and o to the freezer while he sits opposite Ryker.

I grab some Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream and a spoon. I sit at the island and eat the ice cream.

"Hungry much." Adam says. I shrug and continue eating the ice cream.

"Did you two use protection over the week?" Alice asks. My eyes widen and I look at Theo.

"Oh shit." He mutters. Now is not a good time to have me pregnant.

"Oh fuck. This isn't good. Now is not the right time." I say.

"Calm down. Everything will be fine." Taylor tries reassuring me. Theo looks a bit shell shocked.

"I'm going for a run." I say and dart out the back door. I jump off the porch and shift into my brown wolf.

I run into the forest and my wolf confirms our suspicions. I am pregnant. I don't go to far from the pack house.

Theo POV

We're not ready for a pup yet. With the rouges out to get Erin it isn't the right time. I'd love to start a family but just not until those ducking rouges are gone.

"I'm going for a run." I hear Erin rush out. I stand up and follow her. She doesn't notice me running behind her the entire time.

She stops and shifts. I follow and she slips a shirt on. I slip a pair of shorts on and she sits by the lake with her feet in the water.

"I know your there, Theo." she says but doesn't turn to look at me. I walk up and sit beside her.

"I can't get rid of it. I won't." She whispers. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her closer.

"I wouldn't ask you to anyway. I wouldn't want you to. Yeah, it's not the best time but we can make it work. I won't let anything happen to you or the pup." I say. She rests her head on my shoulder and I bury my head in her ginger hair.

"I just don't want to be constantly looking over my shoulder to protect it." She says. I nod in agreement and just stay quiet.

"I won't want it to get hurt because of rouges. But I can't get rid of it. It's not right to hurt another living thing." She says. I nod again.

"Its ok. I'll protect you both I won't ever let you get hurt." I says and stand up. "Come on. Let's go back and tell the pack. They need to know so they can be more on guard."

She nods and grabs my hand. I pull her up and we walk pack to the pack house in silence. I can practically hear the cogs turning in her head.

"Stop over thinking." I whisper in her ear. She sighs deeply but nods and we walk through the back doors again.

"So, what's happening?" Taylor asks when we get in.

"Working around it. We're holding a pack meeting in 2 hours." I say.

'Pack meeting in two hours out in the back garden' a chorus of 'yes alpha' is heard throughout the pack link. I sit down and pull Erin onto my lap. She's completely out of it.
