Taehyung was rushing down the stairs, calling out to her mom. "Maaa..." she shouted, assuming her mom was in the garden watering the plants. But her mom, Yeri, responded from a different location. "I'm in the kitchen..."

Taehyung stopped in her tracks and changed direction, running towards the kitchen. She burst in and showered her mom with affection, pecking both her cheeks with a quick kiss.

"Maa, I'm going shopping with Jisoo," she said, turning to leave the kitchen. But Yeri stopped her.

"First, have your breakfast. I made your favorite aloo paratha."

Taehyung's eyes widened, and her mouth watered at the sight of her favorite breakfast dish. But she was already running late, and she knew she couldn't indulge in it now.

"Maa, I don't have time. I'm already so late."

"But Ta--"

"My sweet mom, don't worry, I'll eat something outside. Jisoo has been waiting for me at Pink City Mall for an hour, so I'm going, bye! Love you!" She shouted while hastily exiting the kitchen, not giving Yeri a chance to respond.

Yeri (smiling and shaking her head) "Her childish ways will never go away."

Taehyung stepped out of her house and sighed, gazing at her vehicles. "What should I do now? Should I take the scooty or the car?" She pondered, her eyes shifting between the two options.

After a brief deliberation, she decided to opt for the scooty, reasoning that she hadn't used it in two months and it would be a faster mode of transportation than the car. With a nod, she made up her mind to ride the scooty.

She hopped on her pink scooty and sped off, the wind rushing through her hair. Taehyung groaned in frustration as her phone rang nonstop. "This girl is going to drive me crazy one day," she muttered to herself, referring to Jisoo's persistent calls.

Little did she know, Jungkook was also trying to reach her, adding to the flurry of incoming calls.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was in his car, heading back to the police station with his best friend and partner, Jack. They had just left Mr. Malhotra's house, where they had been conducting an investigation.

Jack was scrutinizing the case files and suddenly exclaimed, "Kook, I've found some evidence that suggests it wasn't a suicide, but a murder!" Jungkook's eyes narrowed as he pieced together the clues in his mind

"I knew it," he said grimly. "And I think her parents were involved in her murder."

Jack's eyes widened in surprise, as if he had just seen a ghost. He stared at Jungkook, seemingly aware of the murderer's identity, but puzzled as to why Jungkook hadn't shared his suspicions earlier. Jungkook met Jack's gaze with a sideways glance and a chuckle.
