You're gonna marry me

At first sight

The Moons had 3 kids and Byul-YI was the youngest.

The 8-year-old loved dressing in a more boyish style since she was 3 and her mother never tried to change her personality.

Everybody babied the black-haired girl. Including her middle sister( 4 years older) and the only boy(6 years older).

That particular rainy afternoon, Byul-YI was sad because she couldn't play outside.

Besides, the little girl was also afraid of thunders and lightning.

The chubby child heard her brother's voice and she ran toward the living room.to welcome him.

There was a dark-haired teenager around Minhyuk's age standing over the door, waiting for him to bring her a towel.

__ Hi, baby girl! Why the wide eyes? You don't need to fear the storm. It's almost over.__ The 14-year-old boy caressed his sister's hair before running to the restroom.

Byul-YI stared at the stranger with curiosity and her heart skipped a beat the second the other girl smiled at her.

It was like opening the window during the sunrise and feeling the sunlight touching her face.

__ You must be Byul-YI. Your brother talks a lot about you.

Her voice was warm and gentle, which made the younger girl melt inside.

__ Here, Sun. Dry your hair and your feet to avoid wetting the floor. I'm gonna ask Heize to lend you some clothes.__ Minhyuk came back quickly.

__ Sun?__ Byul-YI's mouth spoke before she realized.

The teenager replied:

__ Yep, little star. This is my friend from school. Her name is Yongsun.

__ Isn't it cute that you have a sister called star and a friend whose nickname is sun?__ The girl laughed while finishing drying herself.

Byul-YI spoke so seriously, but blushed when the pretty brunette stepped closer and caressed her cheeks:

__ The sun is a star. And I'm also the moon. You should marry me.

__ You're so cute! I wanna bite you.

Giggling, the boy patted his baby sister and declared:

__ Girls don't marry girls in Korea, Byul Byul.

The black-haired girl pouted while crossing her arms.

__ Leave her alone, you big bully. __ Yongsun pushed her best friend, and he invited her to go upstairs while running away from her slaps.

The 8-year-old sighed and felt cold again because the sun had left the room.

"She is so bright, adorable, and pretty! And her smile can light any dark place." __ The youngest Moon thought and decided to write that in her notebook.

The years went by pretty fast and Byul-YI never forgot that bright smile.

Although her brother loved her very much, he didn't spend much time with her because he was always doing several activities.

Minhyuk was an athletic guy and was part of the volleyball team at school and practiced karate and swimming.

Once in a blue moon, the teenager would bring Yongsun to the house with the excuse to study.

Nonetheless, Byul-YI found out some shocking news accidentally when she was 13.

The older brother was preparing to take a tough test to try for a scholarship to a prestigious university. So the little girl thought it was natural that his best friend was helping.
