"We arrived at Task Force 141's heavily fortified base, nestled deep in a dense forest. The towering trees, their trunks as wide as houses, cast long shadows in the fading light of day. It's a far cry from the sterile lab I'd been cooped up in for so long. I feel a thrill of excitement mixed with a dash of fear.

Ghost's gruff voice cuts through the silence, his tone as cold as the steel blade strapped to his leg. "Get out, move quickly."

I step out of the vehicle and onto the rough, rocky ground. I take in my surroundings, my eyes scanning the perimeter fence, the guard towers, and the dense foliage that seems to close in around us like a vice. My feet ache from the long journey, and the sharp rocks beneath my feet only add to my discomfort. I take a deep breath, the scent of damp earth and pine needles filling my lungs, and follow Ghost into the base."

Once we enter the base, Ghost introduces me to the other team members.

I scan the room, taking in the faces of the men gathered around us.

"This is Soap, Ghost points out, nodding to a man with a rugged jawline and a hint of a smile. "That's Price, with the sharp eyes and Gaz, the quiet one."

Another man walks into the room, his towering frame and broad shoulders commanding attention. He's extremely tall and built big, wearing a long mask that conceals everything except his piercing light blue eyes.

"This is König," Ghost says, his voice low and serious.
König's gaze lingers on me, his eyes seeming to bore into my skin. Everyone's eyes are on me, and I feel a shiver run down my spine.

"Everyone, this is Y/N, our new hybrid," Ghost announces, his voice devoid of warmth. "She'll be helping on missions and so on. I'm her caretaker."

Soap greets me with a big smile. Welcome to the team Y/N
but Ghost's words cut him off. "She's not part of the team, Soap. She's just an assistant... and an animal." The word "animal" stings, and I feel a pang of hurt.

König exits the room without making a sound, leaving an uncomfortable silence. Soap backs up, his hands raised in a calming gesture. "You can at least make her feel welcome and let her get to know everyone," he suggests.
I'm lost for words, feeling like a specimen under a microscope. All they see is a monster, a hybrid with long ears, sharp teeth, and claws like a human wolf and tiger.

Price asks, "Does she have to wear the muzzle?" Ghost's response is cold and detached. "Until I trust her.

Let's go, Y/N." I follow him, feeling like a prisoner, as we walk through the hallway lined with doors leading to the team members' quarters. The fluorescent lights overhead cast an eerie glow, making the shadows seem to shift and twist around us. Ghost walks into one of the rooms, and I hesitate for a moment before following him inside.

As I step into the room, Ghost gestures for me to enter, his piercing eyes watching my every move.

'This is my room and this is where you'll be staying, so I can keep an eye on you,' he says, his deep voice firm but measured.
He opens the doors to a spacious walk-in closet. 'You can sleep in here.' I look in side, there isn't alot of stuff inside almost like he doesn't use the closet but there is a mattress inside laying on the bottom of the walk in closet. It's almost better than the cage I hade to sleep in.

'What exactly am I supposed to do here at the base?' I ask, trying to hide my trepidation.

Ghost's expression remains stoic. 'You'll train with us every day, and when we go on missions, you'll help.

I didn't expect you to be a half-human hybrid, but it makes things easier.'

I move apart of the leather strap from the uncomfortable muzzle on my head.
