I started suiting up. First fight, I've got this...

I got in the truck sitting in the seat closest to Soshiro.
"Can we talk after this?" I asked
"Sure." He smiled. We were the only two in the truck so far. I was staring at the floor.
"You look like a puppy." He said out of the blue
"Huh?" I looked up at him
"You look like a puppy." He repeated and tilted my chin up
"How exactly?" I asked
"Well, your hair kinda is different colors in places and it kinda looks like ears. You act like a puppy too. You love affection." He ran his hand through my hair
"I don't act like an animal." I crossed my arms
"No! I meant like uhm- I don't know. You like affection and you really like when I scratch your head." He mumbled as the others got in. He let my face go and I pulled my mask up.

"So, how you guys feeling? Everyone ready to go hunt some Kaiju?" Soshiro asked. Kafka looked like he was about to throw up and everyone started yelling at him. I put my legs in Soshiros lap.
"THAT IS SO DISRESPECTFUL AKARI!" Kikoru yelled
"She gets a pass." Soshiro put his gun on my legs
"THATS NOT FAIR!" The pink haired guy yelled
"How?" Soshiro tilted his head. They kept arguing and I just let a song play in my head.

We got out of the truck and got on a roof.

So this is the Hanju...NEAT. ITS A MUSHROOM.

"Here's your mission briefing. Captain Ashido's unit will be dealing with the Hanju. There's a constant stream of Younju streaming from it. We at up the neutralization zone where there's no major infrastructure or transportation. Your job, is to make sure no Younju make it out of that area alive. That means your performance will determine how much damage they cause, how long it'll cost to fix, and how much fixing it will cost. Naturally those deploying with rookies in hand stay at the rear. In other words, all you folks are our last line of defense. No pressure. Questions?" He paused "Alright good. Go ahead and put your training skills out of mind. They won't help you in the field. It's time for you greenhorns to show me what you got. Don't let me down." He smiled

"Let's freaking go! Yeah!" Everyone yelled
"Don't forget to have fun kids!" Soshiro smiled and did peace signs.

I jumped off the building with all the others. I automatically ran past all the Younju in front of me. I wanted to get to the source. It took Kikoru a second but she caught up. I started killing the Younju as Kikoru did too.

I saw a weird flying Kaiju and tried to shoot it but it dodged. It shoved my mask out of the way and flew into my mouth. I fell down.
"Y/N!" Kikoru yelled
"EWWWWWW!" I yelled and gagged. I pulled my mask down and jumped onto a roof. Kikoru jumped after me and I closed my eyes.

I opened them.
"Y/N..." Kikoru's eyes were wide
"What?" I asked
"W-Well...We should get you a mirror." She jumped down and into a house. I followed. I looked in the mirror.

I still had the body of a human but I was gray, had moth wings, horns, my eyes were red, and I had on some very...revealing clothes.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?" I yelled
"I DONT KNOW. TRY AND CALM DOWN!" She yelled
"I'm hungry." I ran outside and my tongue grabbed a bird. I ate it.
"THATS GROSS!" Kikoru yelled and I went back to normal
"Guess you were just hungry...THATS STILL GROSS THOUGH!" we ran back to the others

I shot their legs then their head. This is kinda fun...

"Reno, mind if I run with you?" I asked while shooting the Younju behind him
"You can roll with me." He started running as well as the guy with the mohawk who I believe is Iharu.

We kept running and shooting.
"Good job Reno." I shot another Younju. I heard explosions.
"They're getting started then." I smiled
"It's about to get realllllll loud." I grinned and waited for the gunshot. I watched as the Kaiju had a hole blown through it.
"GO CAPTAIN!" I screamed knowing she can't hear me. The second shot. Then a third. Then...a fourth? What's going on? A fifth...

We started running again. Thats bad. I know it is.
"Okay! Clean up time! Let's get this done so we can go home and have a hardy breakfast!" I heard Soshiro in my ear piece.

Reno shot another one down.
"Hey, Iharu, Y/N, I think we've cleared all the Younju in this sector. Let's go." Reno started running. We stopped.

A monster sweeper? Why is he here?
"Sir! Your crew needs to stay clear till the fightings over!" I yelled
"So they got this one too...I loaded them with reproductive organs. How did they even know where to look..." He mumbled
"You two know anyone smart enough to kill my Younju?" He asked
