Backstory:
You were born 4 years after the execution of Gol D Roger. At a year old, his parents fed him a devil fruit before they were killed by pirates. The marines found him, and he was put under the care of the chief warden of Impel Down Shiryu. While at Impel Down, he was allowed to wander the halls as he wished. He learned many stories from the prisoners. Eventually, he grew tired of the dreary prison and decided he wanted to explore the world.
He joined the marines at 15 and spent two years with them. At 17, he left the marines after his platoon loses a Davey Back fight to Foxy.
