It was all chaos long ago.. until it became better.

"So what's going on?"
"I'm trying to my project done," I mumbled, overwhelmed. "This is going to take forever."
"Well, sorry you don't have better skill-"
I slapped Damien.
"Please don't be rude."
"Alright, sorry.. well, we're gonna be late, so hurry!"
"Fine!"
I grabbed the unfinished project, shoved it in my bag and ran out the door with him.I finally had made it to class when I remembered I was 13 minutes late.
"Great.."
"Adam, why are you late?"
"Sorry, traffic.." that was a lie. The teacher shrugged and I went to my seat.
As soon as I sat down, I saw something out the window I had never seen before. For some reason, someone kept running into a metal pole, oblivious of what they were doing.
"The hell?"
Before I could mention it, the teacher snapped.
"Adam, please pay attention."
"Got it.."<>~<>~<>~<>~<>
[From Damien's Perspective]
"So, Adam.." I started.
"Yeah?"
"What do you mean by NPC?"
"He was running into the pole like he was a glitched character in a video game.."
"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked.
"Yeah. I hope." He answered, and he seemed a bit nervous.
"Listen, Adam, if you need anything, I'm here, okay?"
"... Adam?"
"Oh, yeah, yeah, sorry.."
"What's wrong?"
"Look over there."
He pointed to a person who seemed to be floating away from a chair.
"What the hell.."
They suddenly got up and flashed back to a bench.
"Sir, are you oka-"
The man disappeared. No trace was left except for a wallet and a backpack.
"Something's wrong, Damien.."
"No shit.."<>~<>~<>~<>~<>
[From Adam's Perspective]
"... He vanished! Out of thin air!"
"Hard to believe." Said Niall.
"Even I saw it..."
"If you were serious, your tail wouldn't be wagging, Adam."
"I-"
"It's because we're excited in the wrong way, idiot.."
"That sounds wrong."
Damien proceeded to go on about many different ways it would make sense when a girl came up to our area.
"Hi, what are you all talking about?"
"Nothing. These idiots are talking about how we are in a video game or something." Said Niall, clearly unamused.
Her face went still.
"Shit.. nobody else is listening, are they?"
"... No?"
She went on. "I've been seeing similar things. People running into walls, random people vanishing, hell, even my ex one time completely disappeared right in front of me. That's how we stopped talking.."
"Jesus, so we aren't insane.." Damien realized.
"You three sound crazy."
"I know, but my new boyfriend Peter has seen it too! Peter, come here!"
A tall sluggish guy came over.
"What are you guys talking about?" He said with a deep voice.
"The coincidences." The girl responded.
"Oh.. yeah, those are weird, Savannah. Wait.. are you telling others?"
"First off, they started talking about it first, and second of all shut up."
"Okay.." he quieted down.
"Anyways, we need to do something. If we truly are in a simulation we need a way to get out."
"True. So let's make a plan," I said.
"Maybe we can get out of this."
