it was late. too late to be awake. their schedule would be packed tomorrow. chan really needed some sleep, but he didn't care about that. he never did. the only thing chan cared about right now is finishing this song.

it's been rotting in his drafts for months, but he couldn't finish it. it just lacked something. he couldn't point his fingers to what the problem is with this song. it always felt empty, incomplete, wrong. it didn't matter what chan tried to add to it just never sounded right. he considered just scrapping it multiple times, but chan couldn't do that. it had potential. potential that shouldn't be wasted.

maybe changbin had an idea. but no, it's 1am hes probally sleeping. han is already a long time asleep, and waking them both would just be disrespectful. chan thought about this song till his head hurt.
he really needed to eat something. chan remembered minho having some fried chicken this lunch. " i really hope he left some leftovers," chan thought to himself.

as he stepped out of his room, he noticed the door of changbins room slightly open, which is nothing out of the ordinary except that a dim light emerges a bit from the youngers room." why is changbin awake that late?"chan asked himself. well, it would be pretty hypocritical asking bin that when chan himself isn't any better, he just ignores it and makes his way to the kitchen.

he finally opens the fridge.

chan took all of the leftovers ,which were like a lot. did leeknow even eat from this (???). anyway, he also grabbed an energy drink and headed back to his room. on the way back, he noticed that the dim light is now changing colours now. maybe he keeps his LED lights on while he sleeps for aesthetic purposes ? chan decides to ignore it again and finally goes to his room to feast on all of the leftovers he looted from the fridge.

while eating, he still worked on this godforbidden song. he never gave himself a break from work even when he eats. chan is truly a textbook workaholic. but he had changbin always on his mind while doing his stuff. well, that's also not out of the ordinary. his groupmate plagues chans' mind a lot.

it was very obvious that chan was totally into bin, but he didn't want to admit it. which is pretty logical. they're in south korea thats like one of the last places you should come out.

chan couldn't take it any more he needed to know what changbin is doing. so he tried to step outside as quiet as possible and tip toed to the room of his friend. he arrived pretty quickly. for some reason, chan felt very tense. " i just wanna take a peek. it couldn't hurt ,right?im certain that he is just sleeping." he thought.

chan took a deep breath and finally decided to look. what he saw was the last thing he expected.
