"Look bud, you're in the middle of a combat zone you gotta clear out till the dangers gone." Iharu yelled. The guy held his finger up and shot Iharu
"Oh dear...I was trying to pierce your heart. Does this transformation make aiming harder?" He asked. I got behind Iharu while Reno talked to him.
"The suit can seal it I believe." I got in front of him. He transformed into his Kaiju form.
"I-ITS YOU!" I yelled
"Oh, you're that annoying human. Why didn't you die?" He held up his finger and shot me in the leg.
"The one at the exam?" Iharu asked
"Yes." I was down on one leg.

"Platoon leader, there's a humanoid Kaiju. Send backup." Reno said
"Do you read?" He asked
"Oh yes, I figured out how those little communication devices work. This area is completely undetectable and unreachable by anyone outside unless I say otherwise." It held its finger up.

Reno jumped but still got hit.
"RENO!" Me and Iharu yelled. He got hit again.
I worked my way over to Reno while dragging Iharu.
"Don't...freak...out..." I closed my eyes and then opened them. Both of their mouths were open and I stood up.
"Y-Your a-"
"Something got under my mask earlier." I looked down at them

"Oh?" The humanoid kaiju looked at me and pointed his finger. I dodged it and Reno shot him.
"Get out of here and call for backup Iharu." Reno stood
"Huh? You can't expect me to just run!" He was stopped because Reno tackled him
"Go Iharu. Please. Get backup." I looked back at him while standing beside Reno. I'm not even sure if I can help in this form...

Iharu started running

I put a hand on Reno's shoulder.
"You've got this..." I ran towards the Kaiju and Reno started to shoot at it. It hit me and it went straight through my arm. It was painful but not as bad as my leg...oh yeah. It doesn't hurt anymore.

The Kaiju moved and reappeared infront of Reno then Iharu tackled him. Reno started yelling at Iharu. I started fighting with the Kaiju again.
"Iharu are you alright!?" I yelled
"He's okay!" Reno yelled. He started shooting the kaiju again while Iharu used different rounds.

Iharu hit him with a round. Reno released full combat power and started shooting.
"What the hell... a wall of corpses!?" Reno yelled
"Is that the face humans make when they realize...they have just run out of options?" The Kaiju asked
"RENO MOVE!" I screamed. It was too late. He was hit eight times.

I ran over and picked him up then Iharu. I put them behind crates.
"How DARE you hurt them." I walked over to the Kaiju. Oh god Y/N what are you doing this is so dumb...your gonna die...

Soshiro POV

"Vice captain Hoshina, platoon leader here."
"What's up?" I asked
"Be advised. We've lost all contact with Ichikawa, Furuhashi, and Akari."
"No responses on coms. And their vital signals have dropped off."

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

"Where were they last seen?" I asked
"I-I don't know sir."
"FIGURE IT OUT GODDAMN IT!" I yelled

Y/N POV

Come on Kafka...where are you...

I ran back to Reno and Iharu.
"Stop moving Reno." I got come cloth and tied it around Reno's wounds.
"Come on you two...you've gotta stay awake..." I sat them up. Reno shut his eyes.
"No! No come on Reno! You can't die!" I pulled him close to my body.
"Iharu! Keep him awake!" I yelled and I walked out.

Kafka appeared out of nowhere and punched him so hard his head come off. Kafka in his Kaiju form is so cool!
"KA-" I stopped myself and ran over to him
"Who the hell are you..." he put his hand out
"Hey! Hey! Stand down. It's Y/N. I have no idea how the hell I came to be like this but I am now." I looked up at him
"How the hell...did a flying bug go in your mouth?" He asked. I nodded.
"Alrighty then. Come on we need to go kick this things ass." He looked down at me
"Where's Reno?" He asked
"Over there." I pointed

"Not that I'm bothered or anything. But why are you two getting in the way of another Kaiju?" The Kaiju asked. He shot Kafka.

Okay, he can harm him too...it's not just me

"Ahhhh I see your quite tough. It will take quite a bit to kill you. About this much." His arms turned into those explosive things he shoots. How the fuck...

"I see, this stuff you shot into me. This is what you've been using to blast my buddy's full of holes you bastard!" Kafka yelled and I got behind him. He yelled and it got rid of the explosive thingys.
"Damn. That was cool." I smiled and spread my wings. Me and Kafka started punching him. He ripped the wall of corpses and we kept punching him.
"Your core is in your torso isn't it? Better brace yourself. Cause we're punching straight through it!" We both yelled and punched him at the same time. He flew backwards.

I flew towards him while Kafka ran after me.
"It's over." Kafka looked down at him.
"We've encountered a humanoid Kaiju! It looks like Kaiju no.8 and another Humanoid!" It was the defense force...
"What do we do now?" I whispered
"We run. Give me a second." He whispered back

"Don't move!" They yelled. We turned around and the other humanoid Kaiju was partly healed.
"I can escape. Now I understand how you two function. Next time I can kill you~!" It said in a singing like tone.
"You're not getting away!" Kafka yelled. It shot at the two defense force officers so me and Lafka jumped in front of them.
"For Kaiju you two have some very human like behavior. We'll meet again." He turned into...dust?

Kafka punched the ground to make dust. I grabbed his arm and flew into the air. We landed in an ally.
"At least those two are safe." I was walking with him
"Yeah." He nodded
"A coal black body and a demonic skull for a face. Kaiju number eight. A moth looking Kaiju with horns but still the body of a human. I'm assuming you're a girl and still have human features because you have on clothes. Who are you?" I know that voice.

We stoped walking.

"Vi-" Kafka stopped himself and we turned around
"Hoshina here. I've found the two Humanoid Kaiju. One is Kaiju number eight." Soshiro said. Fuck.

"You two been showing my officers a good time?" He asked. He drew one of his swords and swung it. I know where he comes from and he's good with swords. We both dodged barely. He kept swinging and we kept dodging. He's gonna fucking kill us...
"You two are tough. I definitely hit you two multiple times there." He walked out of the ally back into view. He's not smiling...this...this is the serious Soshiro that saved me that day...
"Requesting permission to override limiter." Soshiro put his swords away
"I'll be the lucky fella to kill you two." He got down

"Unleashed combat power. Ninety two."

I'm scared...is my best friend gonna kill me...?
