ARIELLA WAS WALKING around the mall aimlessly hoping to find a dress for the winter formal. She was going to go with Lydia and Allison, but she changed her mind and decided just to go on her own. She had gone in five stores already and she could still not find a dress that she liked. Everything was either too much or too little, and since this was going to be her last formal before she graduated, she wanted to make the most of it.

When Ariella walked into another store, she was met with lots of colors. There were lots of mannequin's that were propped up with dresses and accessories, and to Ariella's luck there was a sale going on for the formal. As she made her way farther into the store, her eyes fell upon the pink section. She knew she either wanted a pink or purple dress, but by the looks of the store she was in, she could already tell that the pink section had a lot more options to choose from.

She ran her hand along a line of dresses until she found one that caught her eye. She pulled it from the rack and eyed it, taking in all the details. It was a beautiful pink strapless dress with flowers on the top left corner and that appeared at the bottom and the back of the dress.

After debating for a moment, Ariella decided she was going to get it and put it on her arm as she walked around for accessories that could go with it. She found a plain black belt that she could put around the waist and a couple necklaces that she liked. After about thirty more minutes the girl decided she was done and checked out.

During her time at the mall she did buy a couple other things as well, like Christmas and birthday gifts, some toys for Daisy, and a couple other small things for herself. Deciding that she was done for the day, she grabbed all her bags and made her way out to her car.

It was sunset when Ariella had gotten back home, still enough time for her to go on a quick run before it got too dark out. She set the bags down on her bed before grabbing a pair of leggings and a tank top out of her dresser and changing into them. She then went under her bed and grabbed a briefcase that held a majority of her personal weapons.

She grabbed her ankle holster, clipping it on her ankle before sliding her knife in the pocket. She scanned the briefcase one last time debating whether or not she needed anything else. Deciding she was fine with just the one knife, she closed the case sliding back under her bed before grabbing a jacket and tying it around her waist.

Her phone was set in place in her waistband as she ran, a bottle of water in her hand. She had been running for about twenty minutes already and the sun had gone down practically all the way. Ariella stopped running for a moment, opening the cap of the water and gulping it down as she tried to catch her breath.

That was until she heard the click of a gun and felt a pressure against the back of her head. She slowly turned around, the gun now aimed at her forehead as she felt her heart drop to her stomach. In front of her stood Dean Gilbert with Kate Argent right next to him with a smirk on her face.

"Hello, Ariella. I think it's time we're due for a chat." Dean spoke as Kate walked over to her and started patting her down. Kate grabbed the phone out of Ariella's waistband and the knife on her ankle, handing them over to Dean when she was done. "Holding your daughter at gun point, that's real fatherly." Ariella muttered sarcastically.

"You made it quite clear you wanted nothing to do with me," Dean said taking the gun and running it down the side of her face before using it to move the hair in front of her eyes. "You could have been so much more, but instead you chose to side with those stupid werewolves." Dean spat at the girl. "Those stupid werewolves have been a lot nicer than you," Ariella said, glaring at the man she once called her father.
