Grant and Tyriel just stood there, with Karlach burning up alive by the minute. Lae'zel arrived to Camp.
"Oh, welcome to the Camp!" Karlach cried, smiling. She gasped, and Grant and Tyriel clapped slowly. Lae'zel glared at all of them. "She set everything on fire!" Gale shouted, and Karlach whirled around. "Be quiet, Gale! No, I didn't!" She shouted. "Karlach gave me some metal artifacts for my condition, so that I wouldn't tell on her to Lae'zel about her setting the Camp on fire" Gale panted, and Karlach whirled around again. "Be...QUIET! And you better give me back all of those metal artifacts, you THIEF!" She shouted, then turned back around and gasped for air and smiled nervously. "Don't you talk to him that way!" Grant hollered.
"I didn't steal any of those artifacts, you gave them to me. You also went to Astarion, and told him to open the safe so that you could get the fire extinguisher, and then you shoved it down my throat not to tell Lae'zel about it" Gale said. "What? That was, uh...a misunderstanding, you see, I...uh" Karlach began, but Shadowheart came up to them.
"Wait a minute, is that why I saw Astarion? Did you have him open the safe so you could use the fire extinguisher and hide all of this, before Lae'zel could get here?" Shadowheart asked. "What? No" Karlach gasped.
