After being separated from his crew at Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy crash-landed on a mysterious island. Unbeknownst to him, he had arrived on Amazon Lily, home to the Kuja tribe. As he explored the island, he was quickly surrounded by fierce warriors.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" demanded a commanding voice.
The warriors parted to reveal their leader, Boa Hancock, known here as Bao Hancock. Tall, handsome, and exuding authority, Bao Hancock approached Luffy with curiosity.
"I'm Luffy! I got separated from my friends and ended up here," Luffy explained cheerfully.
Bao Hancock, intending to imprison the intruder, found himself unexpectedly drawn to Luffy's carefree nature and innocent charm. Despite his attempts to remain stern, Bao couldn't help but be captivated by Luffy.
"Take him to the palace," Bao ordered, his voice softer than usual.
As Luffy stayed at the palace, Bao's fascination grew. Luffy's strength, spirit, and kindness were unlike anything he had encountered. Despite being oblivious to Bao's affection, Luffy enjoyed the hospitality and was thankful for the food and rest.
One evening, Bao took Luffy to a high vantage point overlooking the island. "This place is amazing!" Luffy exclaimed, eyes shining with awe.
Bao, unable to contain his feelings, confessed, "Luffy, you are remarkable. Your spirit and kindness have touched my heart."
Luffy, straightforward as always, smiled brightly. "Thanks, Bao! You're pretty awesome too. I like you!"
Bao blushed slightly, feeling a surge of happiness. However, their peace was interrupted by news that Marine ships were approaching, led by a formidable Vice Admiral seeking to capture Luffy. Determined to protect him, Bao rallied his warriors.
During the battle, Luffy fought alongside the Kuja, inspiring them with his bravery. Bao, impressed by Luffy's strength and determination, fought fiercely. Together, they managed to fend off the Marines.
After the battle, Bao realized that Luffy needed to continue his journey to save his brother, Ace, who was imprisoned in Impel Down. Though it pained him to see Luffy leave, Bao knew it was necessary.
"Luffy, take this," Bao said, handing him a Vivre Card. "It will guide you to your friends. And remember, you always have a place here on Amazon Lily."
"Thanks, Bao! I'll come back to visit, I promise!" Luffy replied, taking the Vivre Card.
Bao decided to help Luffy reach Impel Down. Using a Kuja ship, they set sail together. During the journey, Bao couldn't help but show his affection for Luffy, often bringing him food and offering to help with anything he needed.
"Bao, you're acting really nice. Are you okay?" Luffy asked one evening, munching on a piece of meat.
"I'm fine, Luffy. I just want to make sure you're ready to save your brother," Bao replied, blushing slightly.
As they approached Impel Down, Bao gave Luffy a final piece of advice. "Be careful in there. It's a dangerous place. I'll wait for you outside."
"Thanks, Bao. I won't let you down," Luffy said, determined.
With that, Luffy prepared to infiltrate the infamous prison to rescue Ace. Bao watched him go, his heart filled with a mixture of worry and admiration. He knew Luffy was destined for greatness, and he was proud to have helped him on his journey.
