The rain pelted against the coffee shop's windows, creating a rythmic drumming that somehow managed to be both soothing and unsettling. You had chosen a corner table, hoping to escape the world for a bit with a hot latte and a good book. As you took a sip, you glanced up and froze.

There, at the counter, stood chapa. But something was off. Her movements were stiff, almost robotic, and her eyes, usually filled with a spark of mischief, were devoid of life. You shook your head, trying to dispel the unsettling feeling. "It's probably just the lighting," you muttered to yourself.

You decided to approach her. "Hey, chapa!" You called out, waving your hand.

The girl turned, and a cold smile spread across her face. "Hey," she replied, but there was no warmth in her voice. It sent shivers down your spine. "I didn't expect to see you here."

"Yeah, I just needed a break. What about you?" You asked, trying to keep the conversation light despite the growing unease.

"Just grabbing a coffee," she said, her eyes scanning the room as if she was looking for something—or someone.

The conversation quickly fizzled, and you returned to your table, feeling more unnerved by the second. Something was definitely wrong. You decided to text Mika, who was always the voice of reason among your friends.

"Hey, I just saw Chapa at the coffee shop, but she's acting really weird," you typed out.

Seconds later, your phone buzzed "What are you talking about? Chapa's with me at HQ," Mika replied.

Your blood ran cold. If chapa is with Mika, than who was this girl?

You glanced back at the counter, but the doppelganger was gone. Panic surged through you, and you quickly gathered your things, heading straight for Danger Force HQ.

When you arrived, Chapa, Mika, Miles and Bose were waiting for you. "What's going on?" Chapa asked, her brows furrowed with concern.

You explained everything, from the strange encounter to the eerie conversation. Chapa's face grew pale. "That wasn't me," she whispered.

Before anyone could react, the lights flickered, and a chilling laugh echoed through the HQ. The doppelganger stepped out of the shadows, a knife gleaming in her hand. "You shouldn't have meddled," she hissed, her eyes locking onto yours with murderous intent.

Chaos erupted. Miles and Bose tried to use their powers to subdue the doppelganger, but she moved with inhuman speed. Mika rushed to your side, trying to pull you away from the danger.

In the midst of the commotion, you caught sight of something glinting in the doppelganger's pocket—a small, ornate mirror. Realization struck you like a bolt of lightning. "The mirror! It's controlling her!"

With a burst of adrenaline, you lunged for the mirror. The doppelganger slashed at you, but Chapa tackled her to the ground. You grabbed the mirror and smashed it against the floor.

The doppelganger let out a blood-curdling scream and dissolved into a shadowy mist. Silence fell over the room, broken only by the sound of your heavy breathing.

"Is it over?" Bose asked, his voice trembling.

Before anyone could answer, the remnants of the shattered mirror began to glow. A voice echoed through the Man's Nest, cold and sinister. "This isn't the end. The real danger is yet to come."

The team stared at the glowing shards realizing that the horror they had just faced was only beginning. The true threat was still out there, and it was coming for them all.
