Prologue

Belle Moondale is a she-dwarf from Erebor. She doesn't look like you maybe imagine a dwarf woman. She looks very beautiful like her mother. She has green-blue eyes which are a little bit of yellow at the iris. Her dark blond hair goes till the hip. It is a little wavy. Not like from the other dwarfs. More like the beautiful wavy hair from Galadriel. Most of the time she wears a green or brown tunica with her leather belt. As well she wears dark brown boots. When she was very young, and I mean really really young, Smaug came and destroyed her home. She doesn't remember the lonely mountain but heard a lot stories about the beautiful and big Erebor. When she was about four years old her parents died at the battle of Moria. They fightet for her. They fightet for their daughter. They want that she has the life everyone wants. Thorin, a very good friend of her mother, Yuna, promised her before the battle that he would take care of her daughter if she couldn't survive. And so he did. Since she was a toddler Thorin Oakenshield was her father figure. Of course she remember a few things about her real father, Ewan, but she loves her adopted father and would never trade him against someone else. Since she lives with Thorin he told her everything she should know about her family, the Durin family, Erebor and of course the fight with the elves. Belle means everything to Thorin, like she is his daughter. Which is in a way true, because he always name her daughter or ,like Ewan always did, flower. So when Thorin met Gandalf and planed the adventure Belle was completely certain that she is a part of the dwarves which do this.
