"Run..."
"Run."
"Run!!!"

A voice echoed throughout the darkness around the boy who was looking around in a panic, trying to figure out where the menacing echoing voice was coming from. He wanted to follow the voices instructions and run, but when he tried, he instantly stopped and looked down to see his feet had been stuck to the ground.

He forced his right foot up off the ground to see a black, goo-like substance pulling on his foot and suddenly sunk it back into the ground.

"Run Milo."
"Run."
"Run."
"Run."

The voice continued to echo in a menacing tone.

"How do you know my name!? Who are you!?" The boy called out to the voice, still trying to look around in the darkness but the only light that seemed to appear was the faint light, which only shined down on him. He couldn't see anything else aside from his own body.

Suddenly he heard a little girl's giggle and a unnaturally swift breeze run in front of him which made him slightly lose his balance but he managed to catch himself before he fell.

"Don't ditch us out Milo."
"We do not want to leave you behind."
"Hurry up Milo!"

This time more voices seemed to echo around him which made him panic more. Suddenly he felt something fall on his head which made him flinch, he grabbed it and looked down at it in his hand, seeing it was a black rose. A black rose that was dripping in blood.

"We're warning you Milo."
"Hurry up Milo."

The voices continued.

Milo screamed as he suddenly felt pressure lunge into his chest and he suddenly awoke in his bed, screaming.

He soon came to his senses, breathing heavily and looked up to see his two brothers standing over him.

"Dude you good?" His older brother, Kenyo asked with a concerned look.

"You were mumbling some weird shit, man." Milo's younger brother, Dinyano, also known as Dino, added.

"Y-yeah I'm fine...I just...had one weird nightmare..." Milo breathed, still trying to calm himself down.

"Well try to remember it if you want to talk about it," Kenyo said and jingled keys in his hand. "We have to go to that meeting on time."

"R-Right.." Milo said, getting up off his bed.

While getting ready for the day, Milo stared into the mirror while brushing his hair. He felt like his heart was going to launch out of his chest. He just couldn't get that dream out of his head. He's never had that before. Was it just a metaphor for something going on in his life? He wasn't sure, but he also knew he didn't have time to focus on it too much.

The only thing he did know...was that this was going to be a long day...
