023. WAITING FOR A BOY LIKE YOU

Chapter twenty three

"Waiting for a boy like you."

Having gone home and changed, Diana was wearing shorts and light pink crop top and had her hair down as she walked with Taylor and Belly on the dock to get to Nicole's boat "so on the night of the fourth of July, I went out looking for Jeremiah and when I found him out on the beach, I asked him to tell me what he was gonna say the night that I told him that I wanted to be with someone who see's me or me. And he basically told me how he's liked me for a long time now and how me and him could never be just friends. And I told him we could never just be friends either. And then he kissed me and one of the fireworks went off in the background and as we started making out, they continued going off." Diana shared.

"Wait, wait, so you were freaking out about mom getting laid and yet here you were making out with Jeremiah underneath the fireworks?" Belly asked, as Diana chuckled "okay, okay so what else happened? I mean that can't just be it." Taylor shared "well, he came with me to dance rehearsals for the deb ball the next day and we danced together even though i was awful at it.." Diana shared "until Jeremiah changed the song and him and Diana were practically dancing on top of each other." Belly shared, as Taylor gasped "Diana!" she voiced, nudging her.

As Diana blushed, she shook her head "and then Jeremiah got scolded by Paige again which the first time was because he wasn't dressed correctly to where he put Steven's suit jacket on and totally looked like Harry Styles but the second time he got scolded for not taking the waltz seriously and he told Paige and everyone in the room that he would do anything for me so.." she shared, as Taylor and Belly squealed "oh my god! Those other girls must've been fuming!" Taylor voiced.

As Diana nodded "oh, they were because when I changed my clothes and went to meet Jeremiah at the pool I found these two girls Gigi and Dana who have been obsessed with him all summer saying that I am an awful dancer to where Jeremiah told them that I was a good dancer and that the waltz was just dumb but me being who I am that wasn't enough for me so I grabbed the two slushees that Steven had made for them and dumped them on their heads." she shared, and as she did, Taylor and Belly started laughing "yeah, let's hope nothing like that happens tonight." Belly shared, as Diana scoffed, bumping into her "shut up." she told her, smirking.

"But if you would like to know, me and Jeremiah made out a second time, in the pool at the house last night." she shared, and she did, Taylor and Belly gasped again "that's my girl!" Taylor voiced, wrapping her arms around her, Diana chuckled "yeah, except for the fact that now I can't stop thinking about him even in my dreams to where this morning I bumped into him coming out of the shower and we fell onto the floor together in which Steven then found us in that position." she shared "ooh." Belly said, wincing "towel or robe?" Taylor asked "robe thankfully. If i was in a towel my brother would've had a stroke. But then he got all nosey asking why I took a cold shower and at that point I just went into my room." Diana shared.

As Belly and Taylor laughed "that's awful. But you realize when Steven does realize that somethings going on with you and Jeremiah, he's gonna lose his mind, right?" Taylor asked "and so will Conrad." Belly shared, and as they did, Diana looked ahead of them at the boat, which was more like a yacht, seeing Nicole "uh, guys?" she asked, pointing ahead of them "what?" Taylor and Belly asked her, as the two looked to where she was pointing "Diana! Belly!" Nicole voiced, waving to them "fuck me!" Taylor voiced "oh, my god." Belly said "that's a frickin yacht!" Diana voiced, as the three of them laughed.

Back at home, Jeremiah was in the living room playing a racing game with Steven, where as he was, he kept looking at his phone and of all the pictures he took of Diana playing volleyball with Taylor today, as he smiled "Jere, you have to come to the party tonight, man. It's gonna be sick. Shayla told me Liam ordered an ice luge." Steven shared, as Jeremiah looked back at him, having not heard a single thing he said "what?" he asked, as Steven looked to him "what do you mean what? I just told you about a party." he shared, looking back at the screen.
