Chapter 3 - New Start

                     New Year's Day, I'm in the same house where I spent Christmas, the same people are at the table, the same hateful looks are still directed at me.
The start of a new year, and quite frankly I have no expectations. I'm trying to be more positive about life, but it's hard when you feel lost and alone.  The fireplace is lit, sweets are on the table and the "family" is present.  People talk and talk, everything they say seems true, but somehow it all sounds so fake. They seem to really care about each other.

Sweets on one side and drinks on the other, just like at Christmas, I took the bottles and went out onto the terrace. I took out my notebook and started writing another song to pass the time.

Is there anything better than spending New Year's Eve alone doing something productive to keep your mind occupied!?

This was the song I wrote on the terrace where you could see the sky full of stars.

              A beautiful way to start the year, me and only me, filled with my own company.  My body shook with a feeling that something was about to happen, I don't know, this was a big chill,  I'm not a person of faith and I don't believe in spirituality, but I could say for sure that this is a sign.
