"You seriously came to see me at work?" Gianna laughed as Aiden came in to visit his girlfriend at the coffee shop she worked at.

"Of course I did, you're my favorite." He winked as she giggled and blushed a bit, relieved to see that they weren't busy currently after having a rush of people come in.

"Fine, what do you want?" She playfully rolled her eyes before taking his order and grabbing the cup to make it.

"Thanks angel, I love you." Aiden grinned after getting his iced coffee order from his girlfriend.

"I love you too, babe. Still want me to come over after I get off?" She asked, handing him a straw.

"Absolutely I do. Have a good shift, see you soon beautiful." He grinned as he left and let Gianna be while she did her shift at work.

Aiden let her be while Gianna did her shift. She was looking forward to getting off of work and spending time with her boyfriend as well as his family. However, with an hour left of her shift, she got a disruptive phone call. It was about her mother. She kept it to herself to finish out her shift before panicking and calling Aiden.

"What happened, angel? I'm here for you, what happened?" Aiden asked once he picked up his girlfriend from work.

"I don't know everything. All I know is my mom broke something falling down the stairs and she accidentally left the oven on, so the house got smokey." Gianna panicked as Aiden handed her some water he kept in the car, assuring her and helping her calm down.

"Okay, whatever happened it's gonna be okay. It will be okay, angel. I promise it'll be okay." He promised, holding her hand and reassuring her during the drive to the hospital.

Aiden and Gianna arrived at the hospital after a twenty minute drive. Much to her demise, none of her older siblings were going to show up. That just meant Gianna would be there to support her mother, as she always has especially with the Alzheimer's diagnosis that happened two and a half years ago.

When they got to the hospital, Gianna's mom, Esther, was in the ICU. She fell down the stairs, breaking her hip and arm in the process of it. She revealed that she forgot that they had stairs leading to the basement, as well as not being able to recall leaving the oven on. It was only a week ago that she tried to drive to get Gianna from work, forgetting where she was and got stranded. Things were going to have to change.

The social worker and a number of therapists revealed that from now on, Esther would have to live in an assisted living facility. That sent Gianna in a panic as she knew she could not go back and live with her dad. Not after he assaulted her when she was nine and twelve years old. She would have to figure out something fast, even if it meant struggling for a while until she figured something out.

"Hey, look at me." Aiden said, gently lifting his finger under her chin as they were back in his car.

"As long as you have me, you will never, ever face anything alone." He assured her, kissing her cheek and wiping away a stray tear.m

"We will figure it out one way or another, I promise angel." He whispered, hugging her and softly kissing her.

"I love you so much, Aiden." Gianna breathed after catching herself and calming her voice, given she was shaky and anxiety ridden.

"I love you, Gianna. I promise we will figure this out together." He said, kissing her hand as they began the drive back to his home.

Just one week later, everything came into place for Gianna. It may not have been what she expected or anticipated, but it was much better than any other option. She felt relieved but also saddened to not be with her mother, who was transitioning to an assisted living care facility over the weekend as well.

All it took was one conversation, and everyone came up with a solution. Mercedes and Jon welcomed Gianna into their home with open arms. There was no question or doubt about her living there. Jon was a bit protective, but Gianna took the guest bedroom in the basement for now. She and Aiden were not there yet to be sharing a room, but would enjoy each other's company. Gianna also loved the Good family, so she knew she would be in a positive environment.

"Thank you so much for your help, Jon." Gianna smiled after Jon and Aiden helped her move the last of her stuff to the guest bedroom in the basement. She didn't have a lot, but a move anyways was going to take a while.

"Absolutely sweetheart. You know we're always here." He replied, hugging her back as Aiden helped her unpack her things and put them away.

"I love you, angel." Aiden smiled after Jon walked out of the room, letting the two be.

"I love you too, babe. Thank you for being here for me." Gianna said after the two shared a quick kiss.

"Always, beautiful." He winked, the two pinky promising each other.

Later that night, Mercedes and Callie arrived back home. They were gone at a studio all day to get Callie's senior dance photos taken as well as new headshots for when she'd go to Los Angeles in two weeks for her second dance show. They knew Gianna was all moved in and Callie was ecstatic.

"Gianna!" Callie squealed, running over to her and jumping as Gianna caught her, both girls laughing and hugging.

"Missed you too, Callie!" Gianna laughed as Mercedes greeted Aiden and Gianna, then going to see her husband.

"Never a dull moment, right sweetheart?" Jon chuckled after greeting his wife.

"Never." She laughed, happy to see the three kids enjoying themselves after a long three weeks.
