.☘︎ ݁˖Impel Down: level 1☘︎ ݁˖

---

The sea roared with fury as the current carried Luffy toward one of the most feared places in the world: Impel Down. With Ace’s execution looming, there was no time to waste. Luffy’s determination to save ace was unwavering as he infiltrated the underwater prison.

As Luffy breached the first level of Impel Down, he was immediately struck by the overwhelming presence of chaos and despair. Level 1, known as the Crimson Hell, was a vast forest filled with red-leafed trees that oozed a thick, sticky sap, creating a treacherous and hostile environment. The cries of prisoners echoed through the air, a symphony of suffering that resonated with Luffy’s determination to rescue Ace.

Luffy’s journey through the forest was interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps. From behind a tree, a voice exclaimed, “Luffy? Is that really you?”

Emerging from the shadows was none other than Buggy the Clown, a former adversary turned unexpected ally. Luffy’s eyes widened in surprise. “Buggy! What are you doing here?”

Buggy, looking dishevelled but still carrying his trademark flamboyance, smirked. “I could ask you the same thing! You’re causing quite a ruckus, Straw Hat!”

Luffy grinned, his enthusiasm undeterred. “I’m here to rescue Ace! But what about you? Why are you in this place?”

Buggy sighed, his bravado slipping for a moment. “I got captured after a... slight misunderstanding with the Marines. But never mind that. We need to get out of here. The guards are relentless, and this forest is no joke.”

Just as they began to strategize their escape, a group of Blugori, the fearsome blue gorilla guards, ambushed them. With their immense strength and intimidating presence, the Blugori seemed insurmountable. Buggy, trying to maintain his composure, muttered, “This is not good.”

Luffy, unfazed, shouted, “Gomu Gomu no Pistol!” His fist stretched out, knocking one of the Blugori unconscious. Buggy, inspired by Luffy’s courage, used his Bara Bara no Mi powers to disassemble and confuse the guards, buying them precious time.

As they fought their way through, Luffy turned to Buggy, admiration in his eyes. “You’re really strong, Buggy. I’m glad we’re working together.”

Buggy blushed slightly, caught off guard by Luffy’s compliment. “D-don’t get the wrong idea! I’m just looking out for myself. But... thanks.”

Their banter was cut short by the appearance of a colossal creature known as the Basilisk, a giant snake-like monster that roamed Level 1. Its eyes glowed with menace as it slithered towards them, ready to strike. Luffy’s fists clenched, and he prepared for battle.

“Buggy, stay behind me. I’ll handle this,” Luffy declared, his voice filled with determination.

Buggy, feeling a mix of fear and admiration, nodded. “Just don’t get yourself killed, Straw Hat.”

Luffy charged forward, his fists blazing with Haki. The battle was intense, with the Basilisk’s massive form looming over them. Luffy’s attacks were relentless, each punch driving the creature back. Buggy, watching from a safe distance, couldn’t help but marvel at Luffy’s strength and resolve.

After a fierce struggle, Luffy delivered a powerful final blow, sending the Basilisk crashing to the ground. Panting but victorious, he turned to Buggy with a triumphant grin. “We did it!”

Buggy, feeling a surge of relief and admiration, walked over to Luffy. “You really are something, Straw Hat. Maybe... maybe you’re not so bad after all.”

Luffy laughed, clapping Buggy on the back. “Thanks, Buggy. Let’s keep moving. We need to get to Level 2 and find Ace.”

As they continued their journey through the treacherous landscape of Level 1, their newfound camaraderie grew stronger. Despite Buggy’s initial reluctance, he found himself genuinely liking Luffy, appreciating his bravery and unwavering spirit.

They encountered various other prisoners along the way, some pleading for help, and others too far gone to respond. Luffy’s heart ached at the sight of so much suffering, fueling his determination to press on.

As they neared the entrance to Level 2, Buggy glanced at Luffy, a rare moment in his eyes. “Hey, Luffy... if we get out of here, promise me you’ll take me with you. I don’t want to rot in this place.”

Luffy’s eyes softened with understanding. “I promise, Buggy. We’ll get out of here together.”

With their promise sealed, Luffy and Buggy prepared to descend into the deeper levels of Impel Down, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. Their bond, forged in the fires of adversity, would be the key to their survival as they ventured further into the depths of the infamous prison.
