Few days passed by simply and both Deep and Arohi were a little distant. Although Arohi was the one who had the right to be upset at him for how he had treated her, it was Deep who avoided talking to her. And she felt bad to admit that a part of her missed his sweet little gestures. The way he'd kiss her forehead before going to office or the way he'd smile at her and tell her to eat enough.
Now, all he did was acknowledge her presence and eat with her without talking too much. He would just mention if he'd be late from work. And at night he would sometimes cuddle her while sleeping but move away in the morning.
Just like Arohi thought, he acted bipolar.
Being a naive and kind hearted girl, she always found it difficult to hold grudges against anybody and the same happened with Deep. Even after how he hurt her repeatedly, she couldn't stay mad at him for long and at the end of the day, craved for his affection.
She loved him, and even if he didn't, he still cared for her. She knew she was going to be tied to him forever. So why not try to turn him into a better person and make him fall for her?
At times, she despised herself for thinking like that. She wasn't responsible for his actions. If he was a good person, he would've dealt with her nicely. But no, he disrespected her in several ways. So how could she expect him to fall for her?
Thinking about all these things made her head hurt and worry even more.
Now, she was in the bathroom, dumping the food she had eaten in the basin and sighing while clutching the sides of the basin tightly.
It was the second time of the day that she was vomiting and it didn't seem healthy. Her face looked a little pale from the sickness but she washed it and drank some water.
"My second month is starting... Maybe I should get a check up done." She told herself.
"But just a week ago I got my medicines. Maybe it's too early to go. Besides, what if Deep is still keeping an eye on me? If he sees me going to a hospital, I'm dead meat."
She recalled Tanu's words about disclosing her pregnancy to Deep before it got too late. He was already being cold towards her. He'd lose his mind if he found out she was lying to him.
She was already worried about him not believing her lie regarding the pharmacy medicines. Maybe he was still suspicious of her. And if he found out the truth on his own, he wouldn't hesitate to harm her again.
"I've known him well enough to say that he's a psycho. If he can make a fuss out of small things, I can't imagine what he will do to me if he finds out that I hid my pregnancy from him." She told herself.
