Chapter twenty four

"Don't want you to be another one of his hookups."

Sleeping in her bed, Diana had a pink sleep mask over her eyes, as she had a smile on her face, the light from her pink led light shined down, where she heard the sound of her bedroom door open "good morning, princess." Susannah said, as Diana quickly sat up, looking left and right "I'm late." she said, as Susannah chuckled, leaning down to her moving the sleep mask off her eyes "no, you're fine. Are you ready for your big day?" she asked her "no." Diana told her "oh, yes, you are." Susannah told her.

"I cant do the waltz. My dress, which is no you love and I didn't want to say anything but it makes me feel like I'm being strangled so if I pass out and make a whole scene.." Diana shared "Diana.." Susannah told her, putting her hands on her shoulders "Jeremiah would never let anything bad happen to you." she shared, and as she did, the smile on Diana's face grew at the mention of Jeremiah "I know." she told her "you know, I still can't believe you got him to go with you. He swore up and down he'd never go to one of these things." Susannah shared "he said he'd do anything for me. Which means getting his toes stepped on over and over I guess." Diana shared, as the two laughed.

Diana looked down and as she did, Susannah furrowed her brows "did I push you into this? Y..you can tell me the truth." she shared, as Diana looked up at her "I..I kind of pushed myself into it because everyone said we wouldn't like it and I wanted to prove them wrong and then when I asked Cam about it he told me it was just a bunch of rich girls and that I would probably be the most normal one there and so I thought that if I joined it that I could get the pleasure of showing those girls that people like me could do it to. But then..with the dresses and then the tea and even now having tried to make friends with these girls all they do is make fun of me or stab me in the back. Where all I wanna do is scream." she shared, letting out a breath.

"And I'm sorry I didn't tell you." she told her "you don't have to be sorry, Diana, we don't even need to go tonight if you don't want to, okay?" Susannah asked her "no, no, I've..I've come this far. I'm not gonna let them scare me off. I'm tougher then I look you know." Diana shared, as Susannah laughed, leaning her head forehead against her's, she put her head in he hands "I love you so much, my little princess." she told her, and as she did, Diana chuckled.

As Susannah leaned away from her "I'm sure I don't need to tell you any props on taking photos seeing as you're always smiling in them." she shared, getting up from her bed "okay, now meet me downstairs. There's a surprise for you." she shared, walking out the door, Diana furrowed her brows "a surprise?" she asked, taking the eye mask off, she put it on her bedside table, as she got up, walking down the hallway and down the stairs, and as she did, she saw her mom, Susannah and Belly standing in the dining room, where two dresses stood behind them, specifically the one with normal straps that was sparkly all over and had a bow on the back to tie.

Her eyes went wide, realizing they got her the dress she wanted, as their mom held her hands out laughing "you got me the dress! Oh my god!" Diana voiced, running toward's them, but she knew who got her the dress as she hugged their mom "thank you! Thank you!" she voiced, as their mom hugged her back, as Susannah smiled at them "I'm gonna go check on your guys shoes. I put them in the freezer to stretch them out." she shared, turning and walking to the kitchen.

"I can't believe you guys got us these dresses." Belly shared "yeah, I really didn't expect this." Diana shared "you both just looked to uncomfortable in the other ones." their mom shared "I didn't think you noticed." Belly shared, as Diana raised her brows "neither did I." she shared "I'm your mother. I know you both." their mom shared "I know you didn't want me to be a deb." Belly shared "and I've honestly been hating every minute of it. So you were.." Diana went to tell her "no.." their mom shared, as she shook her head "it's just had to let you two go." she shared, crying, she pulled the two of them into a hug.
