Sorry for the late post! I don't really have an excuse other than the fact that I had written most of this part and then when I came back to finish it, a bunch had been deleted...
Anyways, I have a feeling this specific ship may be fairly popular based on the results from my recent book "It started with a kiss," (which y'all should totally check out btw).
Also, would y'all be interested in me writing a mature chapter for one of these ships? Just a thought, I already have a couple ships in mind but I wanna know if anyone will even want it.
Anyways, enjoy!

Gwen looked from Chris to her team mates, and then at the empty plate in Chris's hands. They had voted her off and there didn't seem to be an ounce of sympathy, all because Heather had caught her with Courtney, from the opposite team.
Gwen stood and walk towards the boat, her head hung low.
She sat on the uncomfortable seat and suddenly her mind took her to the memory that had been playing and replaying over and over in her mind.
~(Flashback)~
The two teams made their way down to the beach, each dreading Chris's new life-threatening challenge. Gwen walked next to Lashawna and Bridgett, who were in deep conversation about who knew what. Gwen had tried to pay attention but got lost and gave up.
Suddenly aware of someone watching her, Gwen turned her head, her eyes connecting with none other than Courtneys. The brunette smiled at her and Gwen could've sworn her heart stopped for a moment.
Slowing down, Gwen waited for Courtney to catch up, until they were walking side-by-side.
Courtney raised an eyebrow at Gwen, "I doubt your team will be very pleased with you walking with the enemy."
"They'll manage," Gwen said with a shrug, "besides, just because we're on different teams doesn't mean we can't talk."
Courtney looked ahead, nodding towards the direction of the beach where the challenge was taking place, "what'd you think Chris'll make us do today?"
Gwen groaned, "I don't even want to think about the challenge until we're doing it."
"I'm just hoping it'll be a reward challenge instead of an elimination," Courtney said with a smile, "the ceremonies give me anxiety."
Gwen nodded in agreement, "I know right, I'm always worried I've done something to piss people off."
They arrived at the beach sooner than Gwen had expected, everyone lining up behind Chris, who explained the rules of the challenge, admitting that it was indeed a reward challenge. Gwen let out a sigh of relief and noticed that she wasn't the only one who seemed a little more relaxed.

Gwen's cabin was quiet, everyone bummed after their defeat. Outside they could here the other teams celebration as they enjoyed the reward.
Not seeing any point staying up longer, the girls cabin got into bed, most falling asleep within minutes, their energy drained. Gwen, however, couldn't manage to sleep, her mind drifting aimlessly until it landed on Courtney.
The two had gotten closer after Gwen and Duncan broke up. Courtney forgave Gwen for dating Duncan and Gwen forgave Courtney after her backstabbing plot in season 5.
They had signed up for the new season together, neither wanting to do the show unless the other also accepted.
Gwen didn't know when her feelings towards Courtney had turned from platonic to romantic but she had accepted it awhile ago, pushing down the hopes that maybe, just maybe, Courtney might feel the same way.
